The Space:
This 3-bedroom North Tahoe home is a nature lover’s paradise! Immerse yourself in the tranquil scenery of North Tahoe from this mountain retreat, with trees all around and a peaceful mountain stream trickling past. The spacious upper-floor deck will make you feel as if you are hanging out in a tree house, the views are truly impressive and peaceful at the same time! While you may feel as if you are tucked completely off the grid, the home is in a great location with restaurants and beaches within walking distance, and 3 ski resorts a 15-minute or less drive away!

When you arrive at the home, you can enter on the lower floor either through the front door or the garage. Step inside and be greeted by a spacious front hallway outfitted with a bench to sit down while you layer up or take off your outdoor gear, and a large closet space for storage. Directly ahead of the front hallway, you will come to the first bedroom, a bright and cozy space with a queen-size bed, a nightstand, a corner table, and a dresser. Adjacent to this bedroom is the second downstairs bedroom, which is considered the master suite. The spacious bedroom features a king-size bed, matching nightstands with lamps, a 9-drawer dresser with a large mirror above it, and an ensuite bathroom. Freshen up before bed in the luxurious master bathroom, complete with heated floors, a spacious single-sink vanity, a dual-head shower, and a separate soaking tub. Rounding out the lower level of the home is a second full bathroom with a single-sink vanity, a freestanding shower with glass doors, and a stacked washer and dryer located in the hallway just outside of the bathroom.

Make your way up the stairs, where at the top of the stairs you will be greeted by a desk with a chair tucked underneath a bright window. You won’t mind keeping up with remote work when you get to enjoy beautiful views while you work! At the top of the stairs, you will also find the third bedroom of the home. The bedroom boasts a queen-size bed, a nightstand, a dresser, and a closet providing ample storage space for your personal belongings.

Just a few steps away from the third bedroom is the beautiful-shared living space where you will find the kitchen, dining, and living room in one open and social layout. This area is filled with natural light and impressive views over the trees thanks to an abundance of soaring windows and vaulted ceilings. Guests will first come to the beautiful kitchen, where the chef in your group will find everything they need to prepare a delicious meal. The kitchen is outfitted with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a spacious kitchen bar with seating for two. The central location of the kitchen means you won’t have to miss a thing while cooking or washing dishes, and an added bonus, you get to enjoy the gorgeous views from this space. On the other side of the kitchen is a dining table where you will find seating for 6. The table is situated next to the sliding glass doors that lead out to the patio, providing a great extension of living space to enjoy during the summer months.

Tucked off to the side of the kitchen is the cozy living room, where you will find a couch and a loveseat situated around the gas fireplace and 40” smart ROKU TV. Relax and unwind with your group while watching a favorite movie, or take in the beautiful views from the soaring windows that fill this space with natural light. Well set up for relaxing or entertaining, your group will love hanging out in this inviting area of the home! Rounding out the upper floor is a third full bathroom with a single-sink vanity and a freestanding shower with glass doors.

A real highlight of the home is the gorgeous outdoor areas! Step out to the spacious upper deck and immerse yourself in beautiful nature while you soak in the hot tub, enjoy a meal at the outdoor dining table, or gaze at the stars while sharing stories around the propane fire pit. Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire house and outdoor spaces which include an unfenced backyard, a deck, and a hot tub. Guests will also have access to two parking spots in the driveway in front of the home.

The Neighborhood:
This beautiful home is nestled among the trees with views overlooking national forest land, a peaceful location for a mountain getaway! You will be in the perfect location for enjoying the nature of the area, all while being right by Tahoe City and beaches. During the summer months, you are in a prime location just a quick walk to Commons Beach, a beautiful sandy beach where you can enjoy swimming and water activities, or bring a picnic to enjoy in one of the many picnic/BBQ areas. And in the winter you are only 13 minutes from Palisades Tahoe and 12 minutes from Homewood Ski Resorts. Looking for a little less outdoor activity on your vacation? The home is only 5 minutes from Tahoe City where you will find great shopping, a small movie theater, outdoor concerts, a farmer’s market, grocery stores, and a wide variety of bars and restaurants.

Getting Around:
Nestled just outside of Tahoe City, this home is centrally located off HWY 28 making it easy to quickly get around the area. There are several public transportation TART stops within a short walk from the home, making it easy to get around Tahoe without a vehicle. Less than a 5-minute walk will take you to the public transportation TART stop at Hwy 28 at Tahoe City Marina or Tahoe City Inn, connecting you to all of Tahoe’s recreation through public transportation. For those who enjoy walking, you will love that Commons Beach can be walked to in under 10 minutes and Tahoe City can be reached within 15 minutes.

The central location off near HWY 28 provides quick access to the beautiful surrounding areas for those with a rental vehicle. Jump in the car and explore all over North Tahoe, Tahoe City is just a 2-minute drive away, Paige Meadows is less than 10 minutes, Kings Beach can be reached in 16 minutes, and Truckee is a 22-minute drive. In the winter time, enjoy being only 13 minutes from the Olympic Valley Ski Resort and 23 minutes from NorthStar Ski Resort.
