The space
- Beach gear you can borrow (chairs, towels)

BEDROOM 1: Master bedroom with full bathroom, has its own minisplit AC/Heat (no more fighting over what the temp should be for the entire house during sleep!). Also has ceiling fan, closet, dresser.

BEDROOM 2: bedroom with a bonus room that has a cot. Great for couples with a child. Also has its own minisplit AC/Heat. Also has ceiling fan, closet, dresser.

BEDROOM 3: this "bedroom" is the loft that features two queen beds and an additional cot. Each has its own nightstand, dresser, lamp, and this space also has its own minisplit AC/Heat.

MASTER BATHROOM: full bathroom, newly remodeled

GUEST BATHROOM: double vanity sinks, large tub bathroom with curved shower curtain bar. Wall mounted bathroom shower/conditioner/bodywash included. No worries, we have individually wrapped soap bars, too.

KITCHEN: fully loaded with full stocked coffee bar (complimentary), lots of cooking appliances and utensils including a Ninja blender, Ninja airfryer, crockpot, etc... We even include clingwrap, aluminum foil, ziploc bags. Basic cleaning supplies also included. We stock this house like we live here!

OUTDOOR: Grill, seating for 8 on an outdoor couch, outdoor chairs, 2 adirondack chairs. Also seating at the pool area. Private fishing dock, boat dock, or just sit here and enjoy the fantastic view!

We also have 2 jetski docks - bring your own jetskis.

If you love cooking and spending time with family enjoying TV time, dinners, and hanging out by the pool or BBQ with the grill, this house is for you!

We are located:
- 10 minutes from beautiful Pine Island.
- 10 minutes from Weeki Wachee River (a natural spring fed river. main attraction here is kayaks and seeing manatees in the wild!)
- 15 minutes from the Live Mermaid show at Weeki Wachee State Park (America's first live mermaid show, 75 years and going strong!)
- 45 minutes from Homosassa and Crystal river where you can swim with manatees. Lively area with lots of bars and restaurants!
- 1 hour from Tampa airport
- 2 hours from Disney World and other attractions in Orlando

We are snowbirds from Colorado who have been traveling to Florida every now and then. We just recently bought in the woods in Colorda, so will be spending a lot less time in Florida. We figure we would share our cozy Shell Cottage with guests who are looking for a quiet, relaxing and fun retreat with their family in Florida. As we love to travel with our pet, we decided to let you do the same! Bring your furry friends, and your kids! They'll love fishing on the private dock, kayak right from the backyard, or jump into the pool.

Why they chose this property

It's close enough but far enough from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Close enough to major restaurants and stores - in 15 minutes you can get to: Publix, Starbucks, Burger King, McDonalds, Chipotle, Walmart, Home Depot, etc.

But it's also "far away enough" from major route 19 - it's like an oasis. Very friendly neighborhood - the bartenders and restaurant owners know everyone. The kind of neighborhood where kids can bike around, or take the golf cart, and the adults take their morning walk everyday.

If you don't feel like driving 15 minutes there's a Dollar General that's 5 minutes away. Lots of local restaurants within 5 minutes on Shoal Line Blvd as well!

Like we said....close enough, but far away enough!

What makes this property unique

Our A-frame is very unique looking, but it does not take away from the house. You can stand up straight in the showers, you can wake up in the morning normally on your bed, without bumping your head against short ceilings like other A-frames. As a matter of fact, unless you're really trying to see it, when you're inside, you forget you're in an A-Frame!
