Bumpy start quickly fixed

We arrived at the house to find it had not been cleaned and the washer and dryer were broken. The host had a cleaning crew at the house within 30 minutes of our check in, and an appliance repair crew first thing the next day. Once resolved the house was clean and in good order. The host left us an apology gift bag of snacks and fruit, and we were reimbursed cleaning fee and one night stay. Communication with the host by phone and text was instantaneous and he worked hard to earn our good will. As for the house itself once all issues were resolved, it was fine. The neighborhood is gated and quiet. It's an easy 30 minutes to Disney World. The house has a pool, which we didn't even use because we were too busy. It's smaller than in the pictures, but that is not surprising. There were a few small annoyances. The dishware is all plastic, including coffee cups. There is no towel rack by the sink in the master bathroom. The front door is a bit hard to get to latch. A lot of VRBOs we stay in have a bit more thought to these tiny amenities. The neighborhood doesn't have a lot of choices for restaurants, but it is close to grocery stores. If you are looking for a basic place to stay close to Disney World, it is fine.

Thank you for the review and for being so patient with the unfortunate start to your stay. The original crew made a scheduling error and I failed to catch it. I'm glad they were able to make it right quickly and also reset the washer/dryer. Shame you didn't get to use the screened in pool as it is so lovely and warm. The goal of the home is to be kid friendly and kid safe by using quality wheat straw dishware. It allows al fresco dining without the worry of anything breaking and ending up in the pool. Since this review, I have fixed all that you referred to. I hope you will come back again. You are always welcome.
