Beachside Home W/Stunning Views!

Wakeup to sunrises over Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters while staying at this Beachside home at Sandy Point, WA. End your day with gorgeous sunsets over the Strait of Georgia and the San Juan Islands. In between enjoy beachcombing, watching whales and local wildlife, or just relaxing in a comfortable chair on the deck enjoying the views.

The master bedroom features a luxurious king sized foam bed, high quality linens, down comforter and beautiful views of the beach out of the double opening doors. In addition there are two guest rooms, one with a queen size bed the other with two twin beds and both rooms are fitted wiith cozy linens and comforters.

Make your meals in the fully equipped kitchen with granite counters, stainless steel appiances and everything you will need to whip up a gourmet meal, or bbq up a feast on the gas bbq while gazing out at the ocean or Mount Baker. The living room has three couches (one with a hide-a-bed) TV with a DVD player and a surround sound system. Enjoy a fire in the custom created gas river rock fireplace where the stones were hand picked from the Nooksack river.

While visiting Beachside be sure and walk the many trails, visit the marina and stroll the three mile long beach. Tennis, basketball and pickleball are also a short stroll away.
Seven (7) quality golf courses are within a half hours drive. Enjoy fabulous dining & entertainment at The Silver Reef Casino which is only 10 minutes away. Shopping and other entertainment is also nearby in either Bellingham, Ferndale, Bellingham or Blaine. The slopes and trails of Mt. Baker are a 75 minute drive to the east.

This truly is a year round retreat!

This was the most lovely house to stay in for our 27th wedding anniversary. It was close to town, but far enough away that we were able to feel isolated. The views were breathtaking, the house was cozy, and the host was very gracious and communicated quickly with anything we needed. We are already planning our next trip to the beautiful place.

Peaceful Reset

Perfect weekend getaway

This was just the perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Outstanding views, lots of outdoor space, and a comfortable, quiet spot with spectacular views. Impressively clean and well appointed home that gave us a wonderful weekend of relaxing, reading, and just watching the water.

Spectacular Views!

My husband and I stayed 4 nights and spent a good deal of time on the two large and comfortable decks - the front with a view of Rosario Strait towards Canada and the back of wetlands and Mt. Baker. Clean, well equipped and very comfortable beds.

Wonderful get-away

This house was just perfect for a truly relaxing vacation. The views of water and mountains from the front and back decks really cannot be beat (and such comfy outdoor furniture!). The house had everything we needed, and so many little thoughtful touches that made it a special place to stay. Beds were super comfortable. We did not want to go home!

Perfect family getaway to celebrate my wife's birthday!

This beautifully situated, well-appointed three-bedroom home brought a huge smile to my wife's face as we surprised her with a family getaway for her birthday! The three bedrooms provided ample space for my wife and myself plus our three adult daughters and one son-in-law. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood, the sunrises over the Cascades, and the fresh, salty air!

Our Family Enjoyed the scenery, vibe, and home!

We had a wonderful time here! We used it as a home to relax, enjoy nature, explore the western coast, and visit Bellingham and the San Juan Islands. It was a perfect jumping off point for Vancouver. The home decor helped to make our stay serene and the space supplied us with quality family time to play games, walk on the shore, bird watch, and grill delicious salmon! We loved the cool ocean breezes and the fire pit.

Birds and breezes

Beautiful spot to relax and enjoy girl time. We all enjoyed our beds and the fresh decor. I loved the walking area in the wet lands in front of the house...dont forget to open all the blinds upstairs, gorgeous veiws in both sides.

Best House Rental on the Beach

Our family and the grand parents stayed here while in town for a wedding and it is the loveliest house rental to date. Every year we rent at least one house on vacation through out north america and this was one to remember. The gorgeous view, peaceful setting and wonderful home owners made the entire experience wonderful. The kids toys and baby items were everything we could hope for. We hope to be back again one day.

Absolutely Perfect!

Definitely recommend staying at the beautiful home! Spectacular views, perfect location and the most comfortable and clean home. Communication with the owners was very easy. Quick responses. We loved kayaking in the morning and bike rides during the day. The sunsets were breathtaking! Amazing memories made here!

Joyous Family Time

Beautiful location, tasteful cozy home, comfortable beds, what more do you want? The indoor spaces are decorated in tasteful beach decor with views of the water and Mt. Baker that grab you. The outdoor patio was perfect for barbecue and camp fire in provided fire pit. Everyone in our party of three generations loved our stay. The owners have created a warm and wonderful retreat. Spectacular views!!!

This house is a great home base, no matter what kind of vacation you want. There are so many adventures to be had in the area! It's also a great place to relax and enjoy walks along the beach, through the grassy marsh, or to sit and enjoy the amazing views from inside or out! The house had everything we needed, including laundry, for a comfortable stay. It was a perfect spot for us! If you are looking for isolation from neighbors, this is probably not your best match. All the neighbors on the point live in close proximity to one another, including the ones on either side of the house, who were very friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

We loved our stay at Beachside! After years of Memorial Day camping, our group decided to get a house this year, and it was a great choice. The house is lovely and bright upstairs, with great views of the water and mountains. We had cloudy and rainy weather (I'm glad we weren't in a tent), so we didn't see Baker or the Cascades, but it was still wonderful. We explored the beach, took excursions to Fairhaven and Bellingham, and enjoyed playing games at the house. We took out the bikes one day and explored the walking paths near the marina. It's a beautiful area. The rooms were comfy, and with five of us (four adults and one teen), we all had plenty of room. We would recommend and would definitely come back to enjoy more beach and views with better weather.

Peaceful, Cozy, Fabulous Sunsets

My husband and I spent 4 much needed nights of respite at this cozy beachfront home. We were blessed with uncommonly fabulous weather the whole time - not a drop of rain and nothing but blue skies and incredible sunsets. The owner, Stacey, while we never personally met her, was just an email or text away if we needed anything (which we did not) and was very attentive. The house is beautifully decorated and accommodating, and it was evident from the first minute we arrived that the home is much loved and very well cared for - there is a true sense of peace and tranquility in the home. The kitchen is perfectly stocked with everything you could possibly need to whip up great meals. Bedding in master bedroom is heavenly (I'm going to have to find out where that mattress came from so I can get one for our home). While we're sticking with 5 solid stars for this VRBO, if you are looking to rent a home that is super private, this may not be the place for you. The neighbors (who are very nice) are very close and look directly onto the property. They also had several dogs penned up on this home's side and they would bark at us when we walked down to the beach area. Being dog lovers, we didn't care too much about that, but others might. In summary, lovely home, delightful owner, beautiful nature and views, and lots of beautiful birds. Don't hesitate to rent this place.

It was a quiet relaxing week stay. The views are beautiful, the hosts are easy to talk to and very responsive. Beds were very comfortable, and had lots of games to play when we didn’t want to go anywhere. Great location if you want to be out of the city.

We are an active family of 5 that loves the ocean. We find Beachside to be a wonderful place to relax and create fun family memories. When we are here we can be found combing the beach for shells, walking the trails and eating gooey smores around the firepit. The close proximity to Bellingham has allowed us to spend many quality family times here. Our children love the change of pace and the fun activities this home has to offer.

Why they chose this property

Because of the Mt. Baker and Twin Sister views to the east, and the Georgia Strait and island views to the west. It is very close to Bellingham where we live.
