Enjoy a quiet, relaxing vacation in a lake front, wheelchair and pet friendly home. This beautiful, house on the private side of Lake Anna, features 5 large bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Enjoy swimming in the lake or the community pool; fishing; roasting marshmallows in the fire pit; exploring the water from a stand up paddle board, pedal boat, or kayak; or bring your own boat to cruise around the 4,000 acre lake. Large dock has a beautiful shade arbor for relaxing near the water - plus rare separate screened-in-porch on the dock! House is fully wheelchair accessible including a solar-lighted paved path to the dock and to the beach.
Minimum age 24 to rent. Under 24 must be accompanied by parent or guardian. ***Maximum occupancy is 12 persons and no more than 10 adults. Additional occupancy for small kids considered. FAMILY GROUPS ONLY.***

My family and dogs love our lake house and would love to share it with others. Lately I've been asked why I have no recent reviews. The answer is that I typically have over 75% repeat renters at this point!
Why they chose this property
After vacationing at Lake Anna for several years we decided to buy a lot and then build a house. The lot is on a quiet cove on the private side of the lake. Boat traffic is at a minimum. The cove has deep water. It is fun to swim or just paddle up and down the cove. The neighborhood offers a community pool and a community boat launch.
I love the drive to Lake Anna. The roads are pleasant to drive on with pretty views of farms and mountains off in the distance. Even the dogs get excited when we cross that first bridge on 522 and get a glimpse of the water. And I love the soaring windows and lake views when I walk into the house. The back of the house faces south and it's always bright and cheerful inside the house.

What makes this property unique
This home is perfect for a large family or a couple families getting together for a vacation. Our dogs are happy to share the house with other well-behaved dogs as well. The house is completely wheelchair friendly. There is even a gentle paved path that will take you on to the dock.
I customized this floor plan to make it accessible and to have a layout that would be friendly for vacationers. I stocked the house with everything a vacationing family could want. After having stayed in several houses with my family I knew what worked and what didn't. For example, the 2nd sink in the kitchen really comes in handy. Plenty of bathrooms help too. And the gentle slope and short distance from the house to the water makes for a much easier walk back and forth to the house to grab things for the kids. And EVERYONE loves the Theatre Room.
