This fully-furnished, 6 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is available year-round. It's situated on a quiet private road on the NE part of Lake Anna, near the 719 bridge. The home has a beautiful spacious living room with hardwood floors, a large open kitchen, and large 18 person dining area.

Two additional living rooms are both equipped with hardwood flooring and Dish Network TV/DVR, one with a 75' FLAT SCREEN for the big game. Three bedrooms are located on the main floor allowing easy entry for children or seniors.

A large circular driveway provides plenty of convenient parking spaces. The walk-out basement bedrooms have a separate kitchenette & full bath. The upstairs bedroom has 2 walk out balconies, kids' play area, queen bed, 2 single beds and hardwood flooring.

Newly added for 2024/2025 - The basement has been bisected, adding a 6th bedroom!

This spacious house has lots of decks and plenty of light, with beautiful mature trees providing plenty of shade and sun. The back yard leads to a nice 220-foot waterfront, private dock, and PRIVATE BOAT RAMP ON THE PROPERTY. A gazebo next to the dock has steps down to a swimming area. A sandbox play area and playground provides endless fun for children. A HOT TUB and HOT TUB deck has been recently added that offers AMAZING views of the Lake. A stone fire pit next to the shoreline invites everyone to enjoy s'mores, campfire stories and unforgettable family memories

In summer rentals are available for full-week periods only during high-season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). Off season rentals are available for a minimum of 2 nights.

Location was nice

The place was fine, we were a family of four. The place is big of course. Although it needs some TLC, the place wasn’t the cleanest but it wasn’t too bad. The place does not provide bathroom essentials except for hand soap so make sure you bring your own. Kitchen was nice but pots and pans need to be replaced. TV remote also need to be replaced as it does not work even after changing the battery. Jacuzzi was nice inside and out.Location is nice as well.

Great Location On Lake Anna

My friends and I rented this space for a girls weekend. We had a great time! Large kitchen for cooking for a large group, plenty of sleeping space, and great outdoor area as well. Would definitely recommend for large groups!

Needs a few updates

The house, while we were able to make it work, was tight for our group of 20. Because of how the beds have to be fit in to accommodate 20-some people, there was not really a good place for the adults to sit all together in the evenings. Also, the queen bed in the loft room, the mattress cover was dirty, as if people had been sleeping directly on it with no sheet. These are things i just wanted to let you know. We did enjoy our stay and the opportunity to be at the lake together. Everything else was wonderful.

Property was great and exactly as advertised! Hosts were very responsive and took care of the only issue that we had (low water level in the hot tub, which was our fault) immediately. Highly recommend!

Sunshine Daydream Review

Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. The young people enjoyed jumping/swimming off the dock. The paddleboat and kayaks were used by all. The walk to the dock was gentle. The house had a lot of room suitable for the various activities and age groups. The house did not appear to have been cleaned very well prior to our arrival to the point of dirty dishes being put in cabinets. A suggestion would be to have a few pages of general information laid out in a public place in the house (check-out instructions; trash pick-up; etc).

A week at the lake

We had a great time, the kayaks, paddleboats, and dock gave the kids plenty of opportunity to have a good time. The basement apartment was perfect for privacy.

Family Reunion

Our 4 sons and their families had not all been together for 5/6 years - with many additions to our family since that time. It was so nice to be allowed on the property after 1, so the kids could get in the water while we waited for the cleaners to finish. Sunshine Daydream was the perfect place for such a large group to reunite. The secluded cove location was great (close to grocery, restaurants and rental amenities), and more Importantly - lakeside - -complete with dock, covered gazebo, paddle boat, kayaks, and life jackets. The playground, sand box, fire pit and hot tub were added treats! There was plenty of room for 10 adults and 13 children: packNplays could fit in 4 of the 6 sleeping areas. The yard was big enough for us to add a nice size inflatable pool for the 6 cousins under 3. There was plenty of room to gather, both inside and outside, for all age groups. The shade from the trees was a great relief. Having 3 refrigerators was very much appreciated!! As in any 3 level home, it was difficult maintaining the right temperature for everyone. In order to cool the upper loft area, the lower level was like a walk-in cooler. Our biggest concern, however, were the railing pickets on the stairway, loft area, and even some outside deck posts that were too far apart and not up to code. We suggest adding protective netting, if too difficult to physically correct. Luckily, we brought an extra wide gate, but needed to close off the loft area - which didn’t help with keeping it cool. We did appreciate the extra fans upstairs. All in all, we would definitely return, and were pleased that VRBO did not have Covid occupancy restrictions! PS. Remember to send the text message to the linen company before you close the door! 🤦‍♀️ Thank you, Jake, for answering all our questions. You were a very supportive host.

Great Property

This is a very spacious property. The owner was very responsive to our needs. There's a nice hot tub, and dock for you to load your own boats and Jetski. Staying there gave me more campy vibes (in a good way) so the beds aren't the comfiest and the comforters aren't the thickest. but overall good place.

Lake Anna is the perfect place to get away from the bustle of DC and enjoy some family time. We have 3 boys and a girl that love to fish, swim and enjoy the great outdoors so Lake Anna is a great place to relax and have fun!

What makes this property unique

The private boat ramp helps you avoid pulling your water toys out early and skips the line at the public boat ramp. Keep them in on your last day, enjoy the water then pull 'em out before checking out in the morning! Its like getting a full extra day on the water!
