This was such a beautiful cabin. It was cozy, well-taken care of, the kitchen was fully stocked with all that we needed to make a complete meal, and the extras like the wooden stove, reading nook, and hot tub made this such a relaxing and magical getaway! Check-in was easy, the host was very responsive, and the neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!

The home was so cozy. It had all the amenities we would ever need from extra blankets and pillows, kitchen appliances/accessories, towels for the jacuzzi, board games, reading material, a goodie basket of snacks for the kids, amongst other very homey touches. It was very private surrounded by redwoods and yet close to Main Street where we shopped and dined. Our family loved our staycation weekend here and look forward to returning in the future.

Stace’s cabin is so cute and quant but also spacious spread over 3 floors ( a connected garage with laundry!) Great for a weekend getaway nestled in the redwoods where you can gaze at the stars peacefully in the hot tub at night before bed. The cabin is located in a prime location off of a main access road to downtown Guerneville and 30mins from Jenner on the coast. Great space for work and quality rest & relaxation cabin is equipped with strong WiFi and good entertainment. The only thing I would note is that it is also through a rental management company that requires you to sign a 10 page rental agreement (which both protects you and the host.) As long as you respect the towns 9pm noise ordinance and don’t have an out of control gathering/party it shouldn’t be an issue, also includes a very clear and comprehensive check out list that is easy to follow. Will definitely consider renting again in the future :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house served our needs but it needs a DEEP cleaning. Dust webs on some lamps, think there is black mold in corners of floor of shower, dust under beds,,etc. Lights were so dim in kitchen we had to replace a dim bulb over the stove. Dim bulb still over kitchen sink. No one seems to be taking care of the grounds. Lemon tree and potted plants were bone dry, so I watered them frequently. The quiet back yard with its redwoods is what we liked best about the property and mostly why we enjoyed our stay.

Great Escape

We stayed in this charming cottage for 4 days and 3 nights. Overall the property was very clean and well kept. The main bedroom upstairs was spacious and the ceiling fan helped vent the summer heat. The deck on the back side of the house was amazing and spacious making it a perfect place to relax outdoors or transit to and from the hot tub. The only mark against this rental is the location. It's quite a ways off the main road and the access road isn't the easiest to drive being extremely narrow and steep in spots. Not quite walkable to the main part of Guerneville, or river access unfortunately. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Or stay at FernWoods was everything we wanted. Very quiet and nestled in the trees. The backyard is very nice with plenty of seating to relax and enjoy the outside. It was raining during our stay but that didn't stop us from using a hot tub. Which was fantastic. I would recommend this place to anybody that was looking for a quiet place to get away. Kitchen's a little small, but you can find everything you need. The beds are really comfortable. Nice warm blankets and plenty of them if you should want more. The House was really clean. The road to it is very narrow and the driveway is really steep, but luckily there's two extra parking spots just to the right.
