Tucked away in a quiet/private neighborhood in the "Golden Rectangle" on Carmel Point, Just 800 ft to Carmel Beach is our Sea Cottage. A short walk to Carmel State Beach & wildlife reserve (1block+). A short walk to the East is the Mission Ranch, owned by former Mayor/Actor Clint Eastwood. See sheep in the meadow, lagoon or enjoy a fine meal at sunset. Point Lobos is an experience that shouldn't be missed!
The cottage is completely updated. Casual elegance unparalleled.

This was our second time at this lovely cottage, just a short walk to the beach. There are two roomy and comfortable ensuites, a full kitchen, and a lovely patio with a fire pit, a barbecue, and a table for outdoor dining.This is a wonderful home in a spectacular Carmel neighborhood. If it’s available, book it now! You’ll be so glad you did.

Carmel Cottage Holiday

Lovely cottage, comfortable, clean, great location, in a charming Carmel neighbourhood. Our family of three adults enjoyed long ocean side walks, hiking in several state parks between Carmel and Big Sur, and a seaside walk in Monterey.

Great location, very comfortable

Our family had a great time. Walk to the beach is short (5 min) and the backyard outdoor space was enjoyable as well. Drive to downtown also 5 min. Really nice location and the house was super clean.

Lovely Carmel Christmas

My family and I had a wonderful Christmas in Carmel at this cozy and spacious home. The home had everything we needed, the kitchen was plush, and the indoor fireplace and outdoor firepit worked perfectly. And of course, the location, a short walk to the most beautiful beach on earth was the best part. I look forward to future stay at this great little place. Thank you!

Peace and tranquility....

Great place to relax and spend time with the family. Close to the beach (5 minute walk) and short distance to Ocean Ave where all the shops and restaurants are. Love the residents and visitors alike, everyone is so nice and friendly. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful

The cottage was wonderful in every way. We especially enjoyed the patio: meditation and reading in the warm morning sunlight and sitting out and talking in the late afternoon upon our return from one of the 3 nearby beaches or Point Lobos. Karen is great to communicate with and planning with her is simple and easy.

What a gem!

We adored this Carmel property, it was perfect for our family of five. The couch was very comfortable for my 16 year-old. The sweet outdoor patio was lovely to relax in after walking to the beach. The beach is walkable! Literally like two blocks away is one of the most beautiful beaches with cerulean water and pristine sand. Walking to Ocean Avenue was a longer walk, about 25 minutes, but the town itself is so picturesque that we thought nothing of it. The layout of the house was ideal with the bedrooms along the hallway, separated by a door.A few downsides: Bring your own body soap, there wasn’t enough. Get the lockbox code ahead of time because ours was not sent until two hours after we got there. There’s construction nearby, but it’s very minimal noise during the day. The noise was away from the bedrooms, so not really an issue.Overall, a five star property in the best location!

Great family vacation home in a wonderful location.

The home was perfect for a family of four and our dog. Everyone enjoyed the stay as the size and amenities worked out very well to allow each of us just enough space. The location allowed us to walk to both beaches daily with and without the dog. We also had multiple family strolls to town for dinner or just to look around. Whenever we walked the dog, we were met with many friendly neighbors doing the same. Karen kindly accommodated the charge of our Phev vehicle which we used to visit the surrounding cities for coffee or sightseeing. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to enjoy a wonderful vacation in Carmel.

I grew up in Aspen Colorado on my Fathers cattle ranch which is now known as Snowmass at Aspen ski resort. I spent the school year in California and every summer in Colorado. Nursing was my passion and eventually led to my own successful business caring for the elderly in Carmel for over 20 years. I currently live in Pebble Beach.

Why they chose this property

I inherited this property in 2004 and lived in it for a time before updating and remodeling it. I'm so fortunate to own this little piece of paradise, it truly is an enchanting place. The quiet peaceful neighborhood, so close to the beaches, the village and Pebble Beach, yet so private. It's wonderful to be a part of this area, to experience all the wonders of our coastal life.

What makes this property unique

I fell in love with this Sea Cottage, it reminds me of the Sea cottages of old Europe. With their peaceful gardens, fences and close proximity to the sea. I know you will enjoy it too.
