Very good

The property owner was good to let us drop off our bags a few hours early, and the home was clean and comfortable. The only issues that came up were that we didn't get the door code to get in in our email, so we had to reach out to the owner for that. Also, there was quite a bit of pet hair on the furniture. Other than that, it was a great place to stay and had lots of nice touches like treats that were left for us to enjoy.

Hi Kyle, thank you for your review, and thank you for letting me know about the pet hair. I went and lint-rolled the furniture (in addition to vacuuming, which doesn’t always get all of it) after reading this. You guys were great guests!
About the host
Hosted by Kira Lesley
I am originally from Portland and I have recently relocated back to Portland due to family and work issues. I originally bought the house in Springfield to live in, and it is in a wonderful, family friendly neighborhood. I ended up needing to move back to Portland after only living in the house for about 18 months, so rather than try to sell it, I decided to try the world of rentals.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood has beautiful, well-maintained yards and large lots. Lots of space for barbecuing, dogs, boats, RVs, etc. This is perfect because the Eugene/Springfield area is a wonderful access point for outdoor activities. Also, it's about half a mile from a lovely riverfront walk.
What makes this property unique
My property is fully truly pet-friendly, without a bunch of extra fees. My own pets are pet of the family, and I know how difficult it is to travel with them, or to find places that don't jack up the prices with fees. I expect house guests to be respectful and clean when visiting with their animals, but I want them to feel truly welcome.
