About the host
Hosted by James
We are from Massachusetts and enjoy the boating and kayaking on Winnipesaukee, plus we love hosting our family and friends.
Why they chose this property
Mark Island is peaceful and quiet as we have no noise except laughter from our friends, guests and family. We see all types of wildlife around us and even have had several fawns born right on our property. We are fortunate to have a private, protected cove to swim and fish.
What makes this property unique
A private, protected cove, which allows for peaceful swimming. Wood from our property was milled and used to build the two buildings and the custom made entertainment center. The 28' high fireplace is made by a local artisan / mason from the granite stone from the property. We have 1.4 acres and 600 plus feet of shoreline.
As hosts we love our island property and make updates annually. Some of the recent updates include installing new mini splits in 2023, custom made Adirondack stairs in 2025.
