About this property
A cabin set on an outdoor oasis
About this space
A quaint cabin nestled in the woods, with navigable water 200 yards from your front door for fishing(ideal from canoe:not great fishing from shore), kayaking or canoeing. 500 acres of state land across the dirt road with atv trails, hiking or hunting. Have a fire outside & roast marshmallows & keep warm at night with the wood burning fireplace. A cabin with all of the joys of the rustic woods with the comforts you need. There are also electric and water hook-ups for a camper or RV but no sewer.
The space
Bedding is provided, and I will provide shower towels, hand towels, and wash clothes. This is a good space for a couple to enjoy who like out door activities and the beauty of nature. One full bed, one single bunk on top of the full, there are two nice cots that can be set up for additional sleeping space. This space is best enjoyed with fewer people.
Guest access
There is a swing set, an outdoor fire pit, and a canoe for guests to enjoy on the property. Return the life jackets and paddles to the cabin where you found them, or you will be charged a replacement fee. The paddle boat is not for guest use.
Other things to note
Charcoal grill available, please bring charcoal. Little phone service. There is wood burning fire place for ambiance..and one bundle of wood will be provided, (seasonally) you are welcome to burn hard wood (maple, ash & oak) in the inside fireplace. Anything else is very harmful and unsafe for the chimney. You are welcome to burn whatever you wish in the outside fire pit. The cabin is heated by electric heat. It will be set to 50* seasonally.
