A picnic area is available and the ski/bike/walking trailhead is just a short walk away. Enjoy an outdoor fire pit that is available for use in fall, winter, and spring. Wood is provided.

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT YEAR ROUND TRAVEL INFORMATION--READ BEFORE BOOKING A RESERVATION:
1)It is the responsibility of the guest to have travel plans in place to travel either over the North Cascades via Highway 20 OR to travel over Steven's Pass through Leavenworth OR to travel I-90 over Snoqualmie to Blewett Pass through Wenatchee and then up the Columbia river to the Methow Valley. If one route is closed, it is the YOUR responsibility to make alternate plans for travel. NO REFUNDS will be given at any time of the year simply because an alternate route must be taken and add additional travel time. Highway 20 is closed in the winter and mountain passes can be closed anytime of the year because of wildfires, rockslides or other occurrences. Directions over all the routes will be sent to. you 3 days before your arrival. Make sure to check pass reports(and they can change while you are en route) and print out the directions before you leave.

2)Trail Access/Closure Information:
If you are coming to hike, bike, or ski and a trail or system of trails happens to be closed before or during your stay, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this. Trail closures can occur anytime because of fire, rockslides, mud flows...and we have no control over this. There are many hiking, biking trails of various kinds in the Methow Valley. If access to the North Cascades is closed via Hwy 20 because of any reason, NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN because of this. There beautiful hikes in and around our valley that we would be happy to recommend.

CHECKING IN/CHECKING OUT
Check-in time upon arrival is no earlier than 3 p.m . Check-out time upon departure is no later than 11 a.m. Early check-in or late check-out is allowed only with pre approval and cannot be guaranteed. A late check-out without permission will result in a penalty of $50 per hour. Cleaners have a busy schedule and have to travel all over the Methow Valley. Please be respectful and check out on time.

INTERNET POLICY
**We strive to provide the best internet service we can get here in the very rural Methow Valley. Internet speeds vary throughout the valley and outages or tech issues can occur that we have no control over, and for these reasons NO REFUNDS are given if the internet is problematic. We also do not guarantee that the internet will meet your work/school needs. Should you have an issue with internet service, please send us a message through VRBO describing the problem. We will then contact you to troubleshoot. If the issue is not resolved, we will then contact the internet provider, and/or homeowner. Please note... our valley is very rural and getting service personnel to fix things in a timely manner can be a challenge. We rent lodging, not office space.
Public internet is available at the Winthrop library with enhanced internet speed (parking lot or inside the library). Alternatively, for a fee you can go to the Dropzone in downtown Winthrop. Thank you for your understanding!
