I found the property in excellent condition. Very clean and incredibly pleasant decor. Everything I could have possibly needed was there and easily accessible. If you have trouble with steps the climb from the street may be a challenge. Parking was on the street but always available. Public transportation is very convenient and the local businesses are widely varied and very helpful. I would love to stay again.

This was the perfect spot for myself and my two military boys to stay while we celebrated our Nations 250 years of Independence. Just 15 minutes from the Metro line, made it easy to get back and forth to all our activities. It was a HOT 4th of July and the apartment was comfortably cool. The laundry and kitchen facilities were great, even providing a little pantry that was a huge help as I cooked a bit for my family. The hosts responded quickly to my questions and were fabulous hosts. I highly recommend!

The house was prefect, and the location was ideal for our trip to the zoo, within walking distance. I especially appreciated that the bedrooms were equipped with sound machines. Street parking with stairs up to the house. Host was helpful and informative.

The hosts are extremely kind and very quick to respond. The apartment has everything you could need. My family stayed for a week and had a great time. It's a great location. Parking was never a problem. As others have mentioned, if you have someone with physical mobility issues, they will have trouble with the stairs. We would stay there again for sure.

Return visit

Return trip from last year. Cait and Ian are gracious hosts. The location is excellent the property is cozy, clean and very welcoming. Be sure and check out Haydee’s up the road for live music and great food. Great place to stay.

Excellent location, exceptional host communication and responsiveness. So close to the national zoo! Kitchen was well-equipped, loved ice and water dispenser in fridge. Keep in mind, two full sized beds so if your partner is moderate sized this might be small (my error). The beds are low to the ground so this could pose an issue for less limber guests. The living room furniture is not comfortable after several miles walking every day to relax on. This could be improved.

Fantastic location for family trip to DC!

Beautiful modern garden apartment perfect for our family's trip to DC (with two kids ages 9 and 13). Just steps from the zoo, 20 min walk to metro, lovely landscaped terrace for morning coffee or sunset cocktail. Served as a great home base for our weeklong trip. Great food options nearby include Purple Patch, 2 Amys pizza, and Mount Desert Island ice cream.

Fantastic Stay

We were totally impressed! This place is well furnished well lit, and well stocked With pots and pans and other cooking implements. The host are nearby, accessible, and ly. When we return to DC, we will stay here again

We loved this stay! Beautiful and clean and well designed layout. We would love to stay here again for the awesome location too!The description is very accurate but I would emphasize that the steps to get up to the property are challenging and a bit steep. Also the movements of the family on the upper floor are easily heard through the ceiling. These were not deal breakers for us, and the owner has supplied ear plugs and a white noise machine in each bedroom. Owners are very responsive! Great find!

Cait and Ian are wonderful and provide a beautiful apartment. It is just as listed. My daughters loved the charm of the neighborhood and we were able to walk anywhere we needed. We loved our stay and hope to return next year. Thanks again

Perfect!

What an adorable little apartment! Clean, comfortable and with everything we needed to make our stay convenient with two teens and a preteen. Love the neighborhood and proximity to the zoo and rock creek park. We drove into DC each day to explore and had no trouble with parking in the city or finding a spot in front of the apartment when we returned. Would definitely return in the future!

Exactly as described.

Caitlin was amazing to work with. Communications was spectacular. Property was exactly as described. Perfect location to the bus stop a little uphill walk to metro. My family and I take a DC trip every couple of years and will definitely be looking to stay here again!
