Animal House: Pet Friendly - View of the City Lights - New Hot Tub
- ALL ADVERTISED "2 BEDROOM CABINS" features an enclosed (PRIVATE) bedroom on the main floor and an open loft (NOT PRIVATE) second bedroom upstairs sharing the floor with the game area. In other words, the king bed located in the open loft floor is considered the "second bedroom"; please understand, one out of the two bedrooms in this cabin does not contain a door that allows for any privacy from the rest of the floor. - Not a secluded cabin. Due to being located in a resort setting, there are neighboring cabins to be mindful of. - Cabins are easily accessible year-round as the roads are well maintained by the resort staff to provide stress-free travel to all guests. The resort features inclined roads that are paved, wide, and do not require special vehicles or four-wheel drive to navigate, however, should a four-wheel drive vehicle be accessible to you, it would benefit our guests to drive that vehicle when visiting during the winter months in case of snowfall, to be able to access other parts of town comfortably. - Overlooks Dollywood Amusement Park; During Dollywood's hours of operation, expect to hear the Dollywood train horn sound off often. - Offers an electric fireplace that is for ambiance purposes only. This fireplace is not advertised as a heating source for the cabin. - Furnished with Aspen Log Furniture to provide that rustic, but luxurious cabin feel. - Charcoal for the outdoor grill, kitchen spices/oils for preparing meals in the kitchen, coffee filters for the coffee maker, and clothes hangers for the closets are special items that we would like to point out that we do not provide to guests during their stay.

Beautiful dog friendly property. Nicely furnished. Very clean. The only thing i would have liked better would be comfortable upstairs seating. One love-seat would have done the trick. Other than that, it was perfect!!

Hello Norman,
I am glad you enjoyed your stay! I will definitely speak with housekeeping to make sure those issues have been/will be addressed for future stays.

Wonderful time, great cabin location and view. Perfect view of Dollywood fireworks each night at 9 pm when open. Our only complaints… Found a few stink bugs (which happens in TN) and cabin was not cleaned “thoroughly”. Pet friendly but when I wiped the floor it was completely dirty and so were our socks so not sure when they were mopped last. Overall, it was a great stay and our family very much enjoyed our trip. Better cleaning would have rated a 5 star so giving it a 4.

Thank you for the review! We are sorry that the cabin was not cleaned to your expectations. We will speak with housekeeping about the floors in your cabin and we will work diligently to make sure this does not keep happening. We are glad you enjoyed it overall. We hope to have you stay again soon.
The views from both decks were amazing, Dollywood coasters, smoke (and whistle) from the train, the ferris wheel at The Island and fireworks! There was even a dusting of snow. We used the hot tub several times, played pool and some video games. Once you make it down the mountain you are only a few miles from all the major attractions and about ten miles from Gatlinburg. Our only complaint would be that the wood floors and stairs were so clean that every one of us slipped and/ or fell at some point. Bring your grippy socks, ha. We found ourself staying in more than we expected and enjoying a great and cozy family stay!
My now husband and I decided to stay here since we wanted to be married in TN. We picked this cabin in particular because of the view and the pet policy. I wanted to bring our two large dogs. The cabin is at the top of the mountain, it was spotless, and it was pretty nicely equipped. The check in process was explained well in advance and the checkout process was just was simple. The beds are VERY soft so if you prefer an extra firm mattress, like myself, be warned these beds are like sleeping on clouds. The dogs had a great stay. They had multiple grass patches to potty in and their walks were in beautiful views of the mountains. Will absolutely stay here again.

Thank you so much for this wonderful review. Congrats on the marriage. We are so happy that we were able to help you make special memories and relax! We are happy to have you stay again soon!
This cabin was everything we had hoped it would be. It was spacious, had all of the amenities we needed and the upstairs entertainment suite was great for our teenager and spending some fun down time together as a family.
We slept so well - the beds were very comfortable and large.
The views from the balconies are to die for. Don't miss the sunsets! It was very windy during our visit. Not sure if it's always that windy when you're at that altitude, but it put a bit of a damper on sitting on the balconies as much as we had hoped. Pack accordingly if you want to enjoy some balcony time!
Overall it was a wonderful stay and we'd definitely stay with Outrageous Cabins again.

Thank you so much for the great review! We do hope you choose to come stay with us again!
This place is truly incredible. The views of sunset, valley, mountains, city lights, and Dollywood fireworks/drone show made sitting out on both back porches such a special and fun experience each night. The beds were comfortable. The game tables were in good shape and provided much entertainment for my son, who also very much enjoyed the community playground just a short walk from the cabin. The location is very convenient to Dollywood, the main stretch of Pigeon Forge, and an easy drive to Gatlinburg. We loved rocking our 4 month old to sleep on the second story swing each night while watching the sunset over the mountains. My sole complaint is that the kitchen was not equipped with any staples, such as salt and pepper. Otherwise, this cabin was extremely well stocked and thought out. All in all, this was pretty much perfect for our small family of four + dog. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here and absolutely will rent again the next time we’re in the area.
The cabins are amazing! The trek up the mountain was crazy but beautiful the whole way.
The kitchen had all that we needed. The downstairs bedroom was comfortable for my kiddo and he enjoyed having his own bathroom and shower. *there is no tub besides jacuzzi upstairs*
Upstairs the gaming area was awesome - only thing is wish there was a couch upstairs to sit on. All there was is the bed and bar top table/stools. The video game sound is broken so it’s loud and scratchy. It would be nice if a surround sound was there inside and out.
Upstairs bed was VERY soft. My husband and I sunk in when we sat down and the bed frame was a bit wobbly. I would suggest the bed be replaced or flipped/rotated. The bathroom was nice, didn’t use the jacuzzi besides trying to wash our infant in it. Wish it was a normal size shower vs square. We did notice the shower door hadn’t been cleaned as a message was written on the door that both my husband nor I put as well as a special surprise in the revlon hairdryer box.
Both balconies gave amazing views. The hot tub, even though hot 80/90s this weekend was still used at night and was amazing to relax and watch the view. No noises or anything from neighbors.
Kiddo was able to take our dogs to the playground and they all enjoyed that area.
Only bad really was how you can hear everything, both up and downstairs you could hear walking around and talking.
The family rated the cabin 8.5/10! We hope to go back in the winter.
The cabin was nice and has a beautiful view. I loved that it was pet friendly.
The drive up the mountain was a new experience for us, but once we got to the cabin it was very nice. We had to call maintenance to fix the clothes washer and he was there right away and got it working for us. Housekeeping brought us more towels right away. Very quick and responsive to our needs. Jacuzzi was nice on the balcony and we could watch the fireworks and light show every night right from the balcony’s which was nice entertainment! The beds were very comfortable and nice and quiet.
The cabin was great and had impressive views of the Smoky Mountains. The beds were super comfortable, and the cabin was a short drive from nearby attractions.
