About this property

Lake Front Studio Cabin on Clear Lake! Great View & Deck

Located in Northern Michigan on Clear Lake, an all sports, spring fed, crystal clear lake that covers over 200 acres. Clear Lake is up to 50 feet deep, contains three islands and has a beautiful sandy shoreline.

Cabin 6 is one of our smaller Lakefront Cabins that comfortably sleeps up to a family of four. Cabin six is closest to the lake and has a large picture window. There is a queen size bed and a full size pull out couch, kitchen and full bathroom. The cabin has a large deck facing the water with a picnic table, barbecue and lawn chairs and a chimnea fireplace.

If you like to fish, Clear Lake fishing is great! - You can rent one of our Pontoon Boats, Fishing Boats or fish off our 400 feet of docks for Walleye, Small Mouth Bass, Northern Pike, Blue Gill and Perch.

Walk to Clear Lake Bar, Party Store and Restaurant - From your lake front cabin you can enjoy a stop in at the Clear Lake Party Store for hand dipped ice cream, bait, liquor and convenience items or walk over for dinner and drinks at the Clear Lake Bar.

Other nearby recreation includes, Championship Golf, Outlet Shopping, Canoeing plus hundreds of acres of state land for Hunting, ORV & Snowmobile Trail Riding (ride legally from the resort to the trails, maps provided), Hiking and Cross Country Skiing.

Property was well groomed and clean, cabin was very clean and well laid out shower is a bit tight for the full figured people but totally doable.

Cabin was very clean over all nice. shower was a bit small but was do able. The bed was comfortable. Only problem I really had was the heater kept making loud noises or the pipes in the bathroom were making noises too at night and waking me up occasionally. But I am considering coming back in the summer really loved the area.

Great Relaxation

Very relaxing atmosphere with a wonderful view and plenty of possible activities. Boating, ORV, Hiking, Golfing. Quaint breakfast / lunch place for home cooked style meals and Bar & Grill Pizza place for dinner and drinks just a few steps down the road.

Cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a March weekend get away. Nice trails for hiking just a couple miles up the road. Weather was cold and lake was still frozen, but we had a nice fire outside. Very quiet this time of year and we enjoyed the privacy and the quiet.

Couldn’t be happier!

I stayed in cabin 6, a small studio for 1 or 2. It was situated away from the other cabins and was more private. Very clean and maintained. Lots of little extras that the owner added. I met a few of my property mates, the owner and his 2 very friendly dogs Liv and Nemo. Clear Lake is a beautiful, quiet lake and the trees were just starting to turn. A wonderful place to stay!

Beautiful

This place was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. Local bar down the street with a band that we could hear. Just a little bummed that the private little beach they have is not very swimmable. Too much seaweed. That would be the only thing that was disappointing, especially if you want to swim all day but not rent a boat. Other than that this place was beautiful, peaceful and great.

Beautiful, clean property and cabin!

Enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and linens, towels and a few days worth of paper products were included. They provide everything you need for a charge (charcoal, firewood, lighter fluid). Bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid but the firewood was sufficient enough quality and quantity for the $10 charge. Cabin 6 is right on the water and set off from the other cabins, which we appreciate. It would be nice if the peddle boat, kayaks and stand up boards were included or available at a lower cost. Our VBRO price was good but they only charged us for 1 day of the daily pet fee so we owed a balance when we arrived. Not a big deal for such a short stay but it would have been an issue had we reserved for an entire week. There is a convenience store that sells bait, liquor, wine & beer, a bar & grill and a restaurant open for breakfast and lunch, located across the street making this a great place to relax...it was nice not to have to drive for a few days. The peace and quiet, lake scenery and loons make this a nice place to take a few days to wind down.

Cute, clean, and convenient!

This cabin is very clean and close to amenities, but still away from the "city" commotion. We arrived late and were happy to see a bar/restaurant still open, as well as, a party store just a short walk away. The cabins are close together but everyone is friendly, and the cabin provided quiet time if needed. We will def keep this property in mind for future rentals.

Excellent place to stay

We found our cabin to be very clean and cozy,. they leave a light on for you so very welcoming.the property was well kept and looking out on lake very pretty.my husband and I loved clear lake resort,we hope to return in the spring.

It was the perfect weekend away!

We came up to Clear Lake Resort for my best friends bachelor party and it was exactly the weekend that we all needed. The Cabins were clean and fully furnished with everything that we needed. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. The kayak rental service was a little more expensive than I'm used to in some other areas, but we had such a great time, we didn't really mind. The locals were all extremely kind and helpful as well. With the local bar and liquor store/restaurant located right across the street, you're never far from getting weekend essentials. Overall it was an extremely fun weekend and we will definitely be coming back to stay again! :D

Great Place! Perfect for the two of us or a family of four

We had a great time at Clear Lake. We floated around on the Pontoon Boat we rented for hours. The cabin was spotless, the lake was beautiful and everything was exactly what we expected and more. From the cleanliness of the cabin to the landscaping, the place is great! We would highly recommend it.
