Thee Place on the River to GO!!!!!

Thank you Steve and Josh along with your crew that check on us. My husband, 6 sons, daughter n law and blood hound Elton John had an amazing few days staying at your home on the river. Our happy place has always been Michigan, we go a few times a year for hunting, fishing, nature and I reading. Everything we needed was provided, if it wasn't the host was quick to respond and we were even checked on to ensure we had a memorable stay. We've stayed in countless rentals over the years since we've sold our Michigan home. This by far was the best. Our family of 6 sons ranging from 15-25 yrs of age had space to be seperate yet together. The property was well maintained as well as the interior, the decor was beyond welcoming and engaging. Games were abundant, no one ever got bored on downtime. The hosts provided everything needed and we had privacy which is very rare. Our boys were able to hunt, fish two amazing rivers, kayak and enjoy each other in the time we spent here. We even shopped, golfed and walked the beach; all within 15 minutes of this property. Thank you for the great weekend and engaging time together. We all look forward to next year.

Good place, some fixable annoying but overlooked issues

1. A cloud of Fruit flies in the kitchen and the bathroom near the kitchen, made the bathroom pretty much unusable. 2. The secondary bedroom on the first floor door latch needed to be fixed. Locked us in the room multiple times, not related to the door lock. We ended up just leaving the door open. 3. The neighbors that complained about the previous renters noise had 2 large dogs which constantly barked aggressively when anyone was outside. 4. The north west door was unlocked when we arrived. 5. The master patio door does not lock, tried several times. The door sliding stick is the only thing keeping someone from opening it.

Thank you Jordan for bringing these things to our attention. We have contacted both our handyman and cleaner are are quickly resolving those problems. We are mitigating the fruit flies with traps and cleaning the drains in both the kitchen and bathrooms. Our handyman has installed a new door handle and that door lock is no longer an issue. And he adjusted the slider door in the master bedroom and that too works great. Our cleaner added the side door lock as a check on her regular cleaning check list before she leaves. We will be asking all future guests to respect noise violations especially with their 4 legged friends. Once again thank you for brining these things to our attention and we hope you were still able to make some wonderful lifelong memories! Please consider staying with us again in the future, we can guarantee all issues will be resolved. Thanks again for your honest feedback. Best, Josh & Steve
