Peaceful Gascon Cottage With Swimming Pool And Tennis Court - Near Condom

The cottage of the Domaine de Polimon is a charming 19th century countryside farmhouse, annex of a Gascon family house located in the beautiful region of Gascony, South West of France, best known for its medieval towns and villages. It is located in a particularly picturesque area of rolling hills and large sunflower fields, dotted with ancient stone villages and cathedrals. For this reason, it is called “La Petite Toscane du Gers” (The Little Tuscany of the Gers). The house is 10 minutes away from the town of Condom, with its many fine restaurants, grocery shops and bi-weekly market. It is located 1h20 from the Toulouse international airport and an 1h30 from Bordeaux, its international airport and TGV train station. The town of Agen is 20 minutes to the North with many more shopping and dining options as well as cultural sites.

The cottage has two en-suite bedrooms, and a third bedroom connected with one of the two bedrooms via a small stair, for a total of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living area comprises a kitchenette and a dining area as well as a seating area with a stove. The house guests have access to the pool (low chlorine UV light system) and to the pristine artificial grass tennis court. The cottage has its own gated entrance, parking area, and outdoor area, in addition to the gardens surrounding the main house.

It is the ideal destination for a countryside retreat but also a journey through France history, nature and gastronomy. Stay at Le Domaine de Polimon and discover the village of Montréal with its 13th century bastide, Vic-Fezensac's 15th century church, Eauze's 15th century cathedral and many other historic sites and monuments in the region. Nearby is the lovely village of La Romieu with its impressive collegiale. It is a region criss-crossed by pilgrims on their way to Santiago di Compostella. Musical events are frequent... from classical music festivals to jazz (Marciac is located 75km away). You will enjoy local wine and gastronomy with the region's fine restaurants including the one-star Michelin restaurant 'La Table des Cordeliers' located at Condom (10min drive away).

We had a fantastic stay with Isabelle. The house and the ground is just fantastic and you feel like you are living far away from civilisation. The swimming pool is fantastic and the tennis court is a great way to keep the family fit during the holidays. All areas of the stay lived up to our expectations. Recommend to stay and enjoy the views and the silence.

Fantastic place

Our family of five stayed here for a week and it was excellent. Always a bit sceptical that the photo's on a website do not represent reality but in this case the photo's were spot on. The house was really well fitted out and very stylish. Took full advantage of a lovely pool and outside space including the tennis court. Had a great stay and Isabelle was great to deal with in organising everything. Cannot recommend enough.

Parfait pour un séjour au calme

Nous avons passé trois agréables semaines en famille dans ce merveilleux gîte paisible dans la nature Gersoise, au milieu des champs de tournesol et entouré d'animaux tels qu'un couple d'écureuils, des biches et bien d'autres encore. Le gîte est bien situé, proche de Condom pour les commerces et des villages pittoresques de Gascogne. Merci pour ces vacances reposantes et ressourçantes !

Séjour en famille à Polimon

Une belle demeure authentique dans un parc avec de magnifiques arbres. Nous avons pleinement profité des équipements extérieurs parfaitement entretenus (piscine chauffée, tennis, table de ping-pong). Really enjoyed staying at Polimon, beautiful place. The house, pool, grounds, tennis court all marvellous. Also enjoyed the art work in the house. If there were one thing that could have been a little easier, bearing in mind it was a heatwave, it was a little sticky without air conditioning for a couple of nights, but really amazing place and would love to return!

Frankreich genießen in der Gascogne

Wir haben gemeinsam mit unseren drei kleinen Kindern zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem herrlichen und gut gepflegten Anwesen verbracht. Im oberen Teil des Gebäudes befinden sich zwei Bereiche, ein Schlafzimmer mit kleinem integrierten Aufenthaltsbereich und En-Suite-Bad. Der andere Bereich besteht aus zwei Schlafzimmern und ebenfalls einem En-Suite-Bad. Die untere Ebene besteht aus Wohn-/Esszimmer und Küche, die gut ausgestattet ist. Wir haben sämtliche Mahlzeiten draußen an dem unter einem Baum gelegenen schönen Essplatz zu uns genommen. Der Pool und der Tennisplatz waren einfach phantastisch! Das Haus ist gut gelegen, um verschiedene Ausflüge zu machen. Sehr gute Tipps haben wir auch von Nic erhalten, der bei Bedarf immer gut zu erreichen war. In dieser malerischen Gegend Frankreichs haben wir wundervolle Ferien verbracht! Danke Isabelle!

Paradise pure

Dear Isabelle, I wanted to thank you for letting us stay 2 weeks in your beautiful paradise! We had such a fantastic time here. The weather was just perfect, our teint is safe until the winter 😉. The pool was our playground nearly all day long, what a grand size and temperature! If the pool-lights would be fixed, it would just be perfect. The beds and sheets were so comfy! All the sitting areas outside have been used by us, changing throughout the day and night, enjoying the smell of the lavender and the view of the fig trees, cedars etc. The neighbours were very friendly & quiet and Cookie (the little dog) visited us sometimes. We saw all kinds of animals, such as a deer, toads, a snake, a red-tigered cat... The wifi was just fine in all areas and the kitchen had everything we needed for preparing homemade meals. Plus the Weber bbq grill was super! Even though it was so warm, we did play some tennis, which was such a luxurious add on to us and the kids. You really have heaven on earth here! The surrounding area is so pretty with all the sunflower fields. The small towns are just typically French, which we loved. The markets have been a joy to our eyes and noses, what a variety of food! There were numerous tiger moskitos and horse flies but we bought a bunch of bug sprays that helped a little. Your lady who is taking care of the main house has been very friendly, even though my French had seen better days back in school. Nic is the perfect handy man and helped us with everything we needed and answered every single question (and we didn‘t have a lot). He was so friendly and is just very dedicated and committed to his job here. So, all in all, we didn’t want to leave 🥰 Thank you again very much!!! The photos of your paradise don‘t show how beautiful it is, it is even better. All the best from my family and me! We would love to come back.

Magnifique gîte, calme avec équipements de qualité

Très jolie propriété entourée de lavandes, buis et cyprès sur une hauteur avec une vue panoramique sur la campagne avoisinante. Grande piscine où l'on peut nager agréablement. Le gîte est aménagé avec goût et très bien équipé, en particulier un grand BBQ Weber à gaz idéal pour tous les repas. La chambre à 2 lits est accessible en traversant une première chambre double. Ce n'était pas génant pour nous car nous avions réservé ces 2 chambres à nos enfants. La 3ème chambre, véritable suite avec coin salon et salle de bains, est très spacieuse. Nous avons passé un très agréable et reposant séjour.
