Popular dining spots in the neighborhood include Xiao Bao Biscuit, Fuel, Porchetta Shop, Southbound, R Kitchen, Chubby Fish and many more! Our guests and neighbors also rave about Welton's Tiny Bakeshop and Kudu Coffee. We recommend going to either for a cup of locally-roasted coffee or their delicious cookies and cakes. The house is only a short walk from the very popular King Street where you will find a multitude of great shops – including antique shops, book stores and fashion boutiques – as well as endless buzzing restaurants and bars.

You can walk almost everywhere - but should you want to rest your feet, there are many other options for getting around: Uber, Lyft, Charleston Bike Taxi, Charleston Rickshaw, Green Taxi or Yellow Cab.

Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. There were a couple of nice restaurants nearby as well as a liquor store and deli. Walk to King street was a nice walk.

The duplex met our needs perfectly. We were a family of 8 - four siblings and their spouses. The four bedroom, four bath accommodations were excellent. The location was easy access to wherever we were going. The manager was easy to communicate with and very responsive to our needs. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The first two days were great, 5 star review. The second two days there was one person above us and you hear every footsteps, toilet flush, furniture move, garbage disposal running. I could only image what 3-4 people above would be like. We consider leaving early because of this.

I stay in 5-10 extended stay venues for corporate retreats each year. This property was absolutely perfect for our group. From the neighborhood, its conveniences and the group especially loved the 4 bathrooms for the 4 bedrooms. Will be reserving again in the fall.

The overall experience was definitely 5 stars. Location, quality of accommodations, and communication with the owners was outstanding.Two minor thoughts for the owners. The TV in our bedroom didn't work (suspect batteries in remote), and minor touch-ups to the paint in several spots and a routine cleaning to the furniture in the common areas is probably in order.

Charleston Ladies Getaway
Property was perfect for us, but
we expected it to be closer to the restaurants and shopping on King Street.
One of our party is insect phobic and found a roach in her toilet and kitchen. That put a little damper on our stay.
Other than that, we found the property well equiped and comfortable.

We were happy with our stay. The unit needs more glassware and coffee mugs - ie. the place sleeps 8 but there are 4 coffee mugs. Kitchen could have been furnished further. My only warning is beware renting te ground floor unit as you might end up having a bachlorette party upstairs and you will hear all the footsteps and moving furniture. If I return, I would want to rent both up and down units...

Convenient ground unit of duplex, would stay again.
The only negative about this home was that it was a duplex and the B unit was on the ground floor. There is the C unit above this vrbo, so the entire building/home is not just for you and the others staying with you. But this seems to be standard for downtown Charleston.Aside from that the location was convenient, great to have 3 parking spaces (however, small driveway to navigate), kitchen was nice and very convenient to have one bathroom for each bedroom.Overall, I would recommend this property to others.
