My family of 6 stayed for only one night. We appreciate that we were able to rent for one night. The house was amazing. We loved all the antiques and the stuff the provided for root beer floats. The hosts communicated with us all along and was very nice and let us in the house early. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for sharing your house.

Truly a hidden gem! Hosts Paula and Melvin were very accommodating. The yard was immaculate and the home showcases love with all the well placed antiques. We did not need anything extra as the home had everything and Paula’s root beer floats were a thoughtful treat!

It was wonderful! The remarkable hosts had the AC going and the house was nice and cool. The house is so adorable with all the precious antiques. It was like an antique museum. As a treat, there were ingredients in the fridge and freezer to make root beer floats. How thoughtful!The hosts were so kind and accommodating. I went to Utopia for a funeral of a family member and they were gracious enough to allow me to check out at a later time. You will definitely enjoy your stay at the precious antique house. Plenty of room. I highly recommend for your next stay in Utopia. A piece of heaven in the hill country.

The Antique House is just as advertised. Very clean, great location. Hosts were very gracious. Even left ice cream, root beer and frosted mugs for root beer floats! The guys had a very competitive corn hole game in the spacious backyard. We would definitely consider staying again.

We had a magical weekend in this incredible home! It exceeded all of our expectations. In reality, it is even more beautiful than the photos. The house feels like a living museum, and the hosts are incredibly generous for sharing such an extraordinary collection of American cultural and historical treasures with their guests. Staying here gave us a unique opportunity to learn more about the history of the United States. At the same time, the home is equipped with every modern convenience. The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry facilities are all well-appointed and thoughtfully maintained. We also loved the cozy backyard and the porch, as well as all the amenities for grilling and relaxing outdoors. We would be absolutely delighted to return and stay here again!

Love the place, the amenities, the decorations and the country feel, even though it was in “town”. Loved the outdoor amenities as well! Will be out “go-to” place, whenever in or near Utopia!

Beautiful House right on Main with wonderful hosts

The house was perfect was located right on Main Street had a huge backyard and the hosts were wonderful, so accommodating, they even had everything ready for us to have root beer floats for the 4th of July with frosted mugs. We will definitely be staying again! Our children loved it!!

So much love has been poured into the Antique House that it felt like going home. It was astep back in time that felt like a warm hug.I love the porches, sitting on one of the rockers on the front porch and watching the rain made me smile, and telling my husband I loved being there just fell from my lips. Sipping on a rootbeer float while sitting on the backporch watching the deer walk by was a cherry on top of a perfect evening.The home is clean and well maintained, the beds are comfortable, and the antique collection is fascinating. If you don't want to fix breakfast in the modernized well equipped kitchen, less than two minutes walking distance is Taqueria Utopia which serves one of the best breakfast tacos I have ever eaten.It is a great place to hang your hat.Charlotte Caldwell

Memorial Day weekend

This house was exactly as advertised. We were in the area to visit friends at the Frio river. Utopia was a short 20 minute drive to the river. We will definitely keep this place in mind for next year.

Great look back in time stay

Everywhere you looked, there was something tastefuly added to the home and neat. We played music in the sitting area. Porch was beautiful. Will come back!

Special stay with our mom

What a beautiful home with so many comfortable spaces. We loved coffee on the back porch one morning and loved sitting in the sun room the next. Kitchen has everything you could think of. Beds are comfy and house is beautifully and tastefully decorated with fun antiques we loved talking about. Hostess made check in and check out super easy. We walked to restaurant down the street for dinner and floated in the nearby river. Very fun and easy weekend. Thank you for your hospitality!

Old Style Homey

My family had a wonderful stay. If you love antiques and older style homes, you will love this place. It is decorated wonderfully and in the morning, we sat in the small back area room and watched the deer and peacock browse around. Everything was comfortable. (and I loved the Root Beer Floats that were provided). It is close to a highway, so a few vehicles zooming but other than that, a WONDERFUL stay!

We had a wonderful time at the Antique House. The house is much larger than the pictures suggest, and all of the antiques are such a treasure. Many of the items took me and my husband back in time to memories with our families. Our two girls, ages 8 and 11, had a blast playing in the large back yard and especially on the seesaw. Our oldest daughter left her volleyball behind on accident and Paula was kind enough to mail it to us the following day. The house is located right in town so you can easily walk to restaurants or the grocery store.
