Had a wonderful view and absolutely loved that there was items we could take to the beach with us like chair, towels, board.

Excellent apartment. Location was PERFECT, ocean right outside windows, with an easy beach access. Spent mornings and evenings on balcony just absorbing the tropical vibes. Apartment is simply designed, and clean with everything you could possibly need. Great selection of pots, pans and glassware. Wonderful fresh luxurious towels, nice bedding. Small issue was that the Bed was new and quite hard and no dimmers or little lamps for evening so very bright at night. Host, who is AMAZING and very responsive, said he would address both issues and thanked us for input, lovely guy. There is a chair rental service on the beach below, which seems to be the norm on these beaches….our side of the beach was a little noisy with sporadic construction and music, walk past the Marriot Hotel chairs if you you want a quieter beach experience. Beach is fantastic but do be careful in the water, lots of currents….lifeguard at the hotel and seem to patrol the beach, so that is reassuring. Food around the apartment is a little low end, but there is a tiny hotel, The Atlantic at the Tryst, which serves better food and is wonderful for sunset cocktailing. Also a sandwich shop,Senor Baguette, who will take food orders for pick up. Highly recommend Old San Juan, the Convento Hotel has a fabulous courtyard restaurant we really enjoyed for lunch. The castles in OSJ are fabulous ….leave a half day atleast for castles because they are HUGE and go early morning or late afternoon because it gets very hot.
