The communication with the host was good. Property was pretty much as advertised. Location was great! Had to sweep a bunch of leaves, but not a big deal.
Very relaxing lake vacation. Beautiful view of the lake in a very quiet cove. We rented a pontoon for the week and was able to tie it up on the dock provided there.
Great house, great location. Back yard was a bit overgrown but They had a clean path to the pier and water edge. My teens loved the downstairs basement with tv, their own rooms and game table!
Fun getaway for a 3 night stay. Loved that our Daisy Mae (fur baby) could come along. House was nice. We brought a couple Kayaks but they had extras for us to use. Quiet cove. Very easy communications. Thanks!
House was fabulous! Everything was as advertised. Excellent screened porch. Fabulous kitchen. Short walk to the dock on a quiet cove. We really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend!
We came in at sunset and were immediately mesmerized by the light on the water. Spent the rest of the evening in the screened in deck enjoying the beauty. A very warm space that was clean, great living room/kitchen for gathering, a dock, but we couldn’t get over the sunsets from the deck. Would totally go back
We stayed six nights and had a great time! The house is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We brought our bass boat along — while the driveway is steep and there’s no space to turn around, we were able to back in without any issues. The nearby boat ramp is very convenient, and having an electrical outlet at the dock made charging easy.We also really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and spending evenings around the fire pit. Communication with the host was easy and responsive throughout our stay. There were a few things that could be improved and updated which we shared with the host, but nothing that took away from our overall experience. We had a lovely time and appreciated the hospitality!
Was as expected. Except no heat the whole time we were there. Space heaters kept us from the freezing temp outside but would have been a more pleasant stay if we’d had heat. We did love the foosball table. Would stay there again.
My friends and I had the most amazing time at the Havenly Lake House. There were 6 of us ranged from 27 to 36 years old. We were looking for a relaxing get away for what we call our annual "Bookcation". We basically read and just relax the entire time. This house took our bookcation to a whole new level. There were so many different spaces to settle in. The kitchen was well stocked and spacious. The living room couches (both upstairs and downstairs) were lovely to lounge out on. All 6 of us could sit together comfortably and two of us stretched out in the afternoons for glorious naps. We spent each morning drinking coffee on the beautiful screened in porch while looking out at the lake. Once the sun reached the dock (which is even closer to the house than it seems in the pictures) we moved down to the dock and got some vitamin D . We even got warm enough to jump into the lake for a little bit. One of us even took the paddle board out for a turn. Our evenings we enjoyed winding down in the hot tub and around the fire pit. Truly so relaxing. The water pressure and temperature are sure to help loosen the knots in your shoulders and neck. We look forward to returning to this lake house retreat soon!!
Great pet friendly home. Very roomy. Nice screen porch right off kitchen, well stocked for all your cooking needs. Nice paved pathway from house to swim dock, not too steep. Nice clean Outdoor firepit and sitting area with covered hot tub and propane grill. Plenty of clean linens and towels provided. Good water for boat and dock to tie up to. Owners communicated very well and very quick to respond. The driveway is a bit tight to manuever truck and boat trailer. but the boat ramp is an easy drive less than 5 mins away. I would definitely recommend this home and stay again. Even if you don't have pets and allergy sensitive like me, it's clean, mostly hardwoods and tile. I have a hypoallergenic dog and my allergies were unbothered by pervious pet stays.
Not much to checking in. Received a text the air was out and they were working on getting it repaired just before we could check in. Stopped by the unit it was too hot to stay so we decided to run to the store to get supplies knowing a tech was on the way. Came back unloaded still no tech. The property manager did communicate with me. Decided to go get dinner came back and the tech showed up shortly after we got back. We decided since it was so hot in the house and it dock was not in the sun to go sit on the dock and fish. The tech never told us he was leaving and we didn't get a message but came back up as it started getting too dark to stay out. The house was cooling down. The upstairs guest bed is extremely soft so if you like a firmer bed sleep downstairs. By morning the house had cooled down. We fished, played in the water and just had a great time. That afternoon we noticed the house was warmer than it really should be but it was very hot outside so we didn't think much of it heat of the day and all. By bed time the house was still warm and getting warmer. We moved downstairs because the bed was more comfortable and it was cooler. I know that the air conditioner issue is not something that can be helped and they did communicate well. The house is wonderful and well equipped with supplies. The most well equipped rental I've ever stayed in. I would certainly be willing to stay here again. Everything was a described, clean, and beautiful.
We had a very relaxing stay. We only ventured out once to get some groceries for our stay. The lake was beautiful! Loved fishing, kayaking, relaxing in the hot tub, and just hanging out by the fire.
