This is a perfect cabin for a mountain getaway. There is fishing right out the front door and it’s still close to all Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge has to offer. Or you can just stay in and have family pool tournaments. Communicating with the host was quick and easy. We enjoyed our stay.
The Host was super accommodating and great with communication! We would recommend this stay to anyone. The cabin was super clean. They had great games to play! A great fire pit. Beautiful yard with chairs to listen to the Pigeon River flow. We are definitely going to come back!
The property was beautiful and so peaceful. Sitting by the river that was just a few steps from the front porch was the highlight of our trip. So relaxing but not too far from all of the places we wanted to go. The teenagers loved the be able to just get in the river to float and fish then wind down with a game of pool. We loved our time here.
We've got a big family - 5 kids, aged 6 through 18. If you are looking for a safe but rustic experience with ready access to a swimming hole for the adults with easygoing splash areas for the kids, this is it. 20 minutes from the entrance to Dollywood. 25 minutes from a day on the water at Lake Douglas or a trip to the Forbidden Caverns. 20 minutes to Gatlinburg. It is one of the best rentals we've ever had in the area of eastern Tennessee. House felt more like a home than a rental, with more than enough entertainment to keep the kids occupied. Entire family rated this one a perfect 10.
The property owner is very easy to communicate with. The hot tub stopped working the day before Easter and he had someone out on Easter fixing it. The outdoor setting is beautiful and easy walking back and forth to cabin. Per my husband, fishing wasn't ideal but they did catch a bass. Super clean cabin and tons of towels. After dark we loved playing air hockey and pool. It was also nice to have Hulu Live TV as part of cabin. There are no closets in the 2 bedrooms on the main level and ended up having to keep some of our clothes in the game area. Overall, it was a great place to get quality family time for the 6 of us (2 adults, 2 teenagers, and 2 seniors) with plenty of space to spread out.
