Great property! Excellent location! Fantastic layout for our family. Home has everything you need plus more! We had Bear on the property four different days. So amazing to watch them! Loads of games and we had some serious ones - Pool - Scrabble - Monopoly - Cards - so much fun. We cooked everyday which was perfect for our group. We would definitely stay again! Thanks to Angela for being such a great host:)
Great location, perfect for a group, everything you need.
Our stay with our family of eight adults was terrific. We took advantage of the hot tub, grill, games, arcade, and location. We hiked daily and the drive to all the trailheads was easy and close. We never had any issues so never had to contact Angel but the communication prior to the trip was excellent. Highly recommend for your visit to the Smoky Mountains!
Location perfect. Very close to everything, however you feel as if you are off in the deep woods. Best equipped kitchen we have ever had. House has had some remodeling, so pictures do need to be updated. Owner took care of the one issue we had, quickly. Would absolutely recommend this property.
Mountainbrook Creekside is such an amazing home! It has just enough room for all of us in our multigenerational family to stretch out and have our own space but also to have great times shared together around the expansive dining room table eating and playing board games. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is full of every imaginable utensil and cooking tool. The creek alongside the cabin is so peaceful. It is close enough to everything but set back enough to feel isolated without ever needing to be on a crazy mountain road!
This cabin was absolutely magnificent. New upgrades, most comfy beds, every single thing you need. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION! Close to town…no driving up steep mountains. We had a bear visitor. Hot tub was just the icing on the cake. We will most definitely be back.
We had a wonderful stay at this great cabin home. It was great having all of the king beds and bathrooms in each room. The creek was beautiful and so relaxing to sit in the rockers and look out with our coffee in the morning. We had bears visit every day which we loved! It was so close to town but remote enough not to hear anything. We definitely recommend it and would love to come back!
I booked this cabin for 10 of our family. It was my in-laws 57th anniversary. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the kitchen, dining, pool table, and living room are perfect enough for everyone to be in at the same time.
Can you say stocked? We have rented plenty of cabins, houses, apartments, etc. over the years. I have NEVER seen anything as stocked as this cabin. Ever. If it wasn’t there, you didn’t need it.
I can’t even begin to describe the beauty outside and the creek and location.
I can’t wait to book again and will recommend to anyone I know looking for a place to stay with family or friends.
House is as advertised. Communication with owner was great. 4 bathrooms was a plus. Hot tub is new. Location to Gatlinburg is outstanding. Bedrooms are larger than expected. Kitchen is updated and big. Lots of dvd's, board games, books, poker chips. Master bedroom had a neat electronic fireplace. Sitting outside next to the creek is very relaxing. Very private location. My 15 and 20 years old boys loved the gaming system even though they couldn't beat their old man at donkey Kong, Pac-Man or Galaga. Definitely recommend staying here.
This property is perfect for our 3 generation family vacation! With beautiful, spacious bedrooms and a bathroom for each bedroom, there is plenty of room for everyone. The dining table is massive and great for playing one of the many games available in the evening. The hot tub was great for sore muscles after a long day of hiking in the park! This location is perfect---right near downtown Gatlinburg, close to the grocery store, and yet just far enough off the beaten path that most people would never know it was there. The creek running alongside the cabin makes for such a beautiful setting. The kids had fun playing outside and the adults enjoyed reading and lounging when not cooking in the extremely well-equipped kitchen or exploring Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge! Everything was so clean and so well-considered to make guests feel like they are truly at home. We are so fortunate to have found this cabin!
Property was great. Was a joy staying. Had bunk beds in the pictures but not on the property. Kitchen drain was slow and interent kept going out upstairs. All minor and overall the stay was great.
The cabin was everything we expected and then some! The location is secluded yet so close to everything! The creek and surrounding woods provides a peaceful setting. The layout of the cabin was perfect for all of us to hang togehter but also allowed for privacy when we wanted it. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal!! All the windows provide a beautiful view of the property and even the bear that paid us a visit. It was a neat experience to see one so close but we were glad he was on the other side of the window. We typically stay up in the mountians to escape the noise but you never would know you are so close to the strip in this cabin. Our family had a wonderful time, enjoyed all the extras this cabin offered, and are looking forward to another visit soon!!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this cabin! It was an absolutely great fit for our family! There was was something for everyone to enjoy! Our nightly/morning visitors were a plus! 🤪 The location is great, however, I would not walk to the downtown strip! 🤣 The host was great with communication! We would definitely consider staying here again!
The stay was wonderful. All the comforts of home and then so. Had a bear break into my sons car and three encounters with bears but the experience was awesome. We will definitely be back !!!!
Great location and accurate details. Hot tub was awesome and we saw two bears. The kids really enjoyed playing in the creek. Kitchen was very well stocked.
Angela was an amazing host. The property was stunning! We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary with family there. Great place to make memories with family!!!!!
The initial rental process is a bit cumbersome based on all the information required by the owner. But the chalet is very nice. Beautiful creek behind with plenty of seating to enjoy it. We thought it would be great to visit in the fall/winter to enjoy the beauty even more. We would definitely rent again.
We loved everything about the cabin! Plenty of room, all bedrooms have their own bath. It’s so convenient to Gatlinburg! The video game was a big hit with the kids and the pool table was fun as well. We saw a bobcat while sitting in the game room! We also made the mistake of not locking one of our cars and we were visited by a bear. It actually opened the door and got a chip bag out. There wasn’t really any food inside so he moved on. No damage just some dirty claw marks. We had plenty of supplies for our four night stay. Loved the sound of the creek going by! Thanks for some great memories!
We really enjoyed staying at this property. While it is only minutes from the bustle of downtown Gatlinburg, you’d never know it. The house sits of the main road, down in a little valley alongside the creek….very quiet and peaceful.
The house itself was clean, well equipped, and laid out nicely. It had plenty of space for our group, and the amenities were great (I enjoyed the classic arcade game!). Our crew prepared and enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast in the large kitchen area, then retreated to the fireplace tv to watch a little football - perfect.
Proximity to downtown was nice. We’re not really shoppers and spent our time hiking in the national park; access to either is great.
Excllent trip!
We loved our stay. Every room had its own bathroom which gave everyone privacy. The creek is beautiful. This cabin is a hidden gem right in the middle of everything. You wouldn’t know you’re so close to town though because of how secluded you are. We saw a bear our first morning there! It was a highlight of the trip. Also, the hot tub was great. The steakhouse down the street — within walking distance— was delicious. We ended up ordering it to-go almost every evening to avoid the crowds and continue our relaxing vacation at the cabin! Can’t wait to stay here again SOON!

We have always loved the Smoky Mountains and this home purchase was a dream come true. We looked for many years and when we saw this Cabin/Chalet, we knew immediately it was exactly what we had been looking for. It has got to be the best spot in all of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Even if we hadn't bought it, we would have booked it over and over again (which I haven't done with any other property I've stayed at and there have been a lot).
Why they chose this property
This is a very private and quiet setting but it is in the heart of Gatlinburg and is so close to everything. There is no winding mountain road and parking to deal with. All you hear is the birds singing and you see deer and bears and squirrels and turkeys on the property each day. If I could stay here year round, I would. The real selling point though was the creek. It is large, loud, and beautiful. It is also surrounded by over 6 acres of wooded mountain land to explore and enjoy.
What makes this property unique
The creek is the best feature of the property. The entire front of the house faces the creek. It's all you hear (except for the birds). It's fun to play in and relax by. You can enjoy it from inside, outside, or in the hot tub. The cabin is very spacious too and could house just a few or many with ease. There are enough items for cooking to enjoy if you like that or have a large horde to feed or you are close enough to restaurants that you don't have to touch a dish. The beds are all large and comfortable and there are plenty of bathroom options for all. Having a laundry and plenty of closet space in each room is just icing on the cake. It is decorated with style and comfort. It is the BEST property in the area.
