Overall the stay was nice. Unfortunately both my mother and I are sensitive to scents and found that the materials to clean were extremely strong.

Thank you Heather for staying with us and for sharing your experience. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the stay overall. I’m sorry the cleaning products were too strong for you and your mother. Your comfort is important to us. We’ll review our cleaning products and options to reduce scents and ensure gentler alternatives are available on request. If you’re open to it, we’d be happy to arrange a fragrance-free cleaning for future visits. For transparency, there were no concerns noted after the first night and through out your stay from you or your guests, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention now so we can improve. We’d love to host you again and make your next stay perfect. Please let us know your preferences in advance.

What a view

The house was just lovely just as it was listed. The water view from the back deck was beautiful . The house was very clean and there didn’t seem to be anything missing, making our stay very comfortable. Adrienne returned our queries promptly which we appreciated. We would recommend this house to anyone. ‘The sisters’

Great accommodations with a great view.

Stayed here over Christmas for a few days as we visited family in Harbour Grace. The location was what got us there but the view and the quality of the accommodations is why we would recommend it to others. We didn’t meet the owners but they were in regular checking to see if all was well. Great spot and if we need a place to lay our head in the area in the future we will definitely check this place out before looking elsewhere. Trevor and Udlu Iqaluit, Nunavut

A little piece of heaven

This property would be an ideal residence for a family or 2 couples on a holiday. Lots of room. Comfortable, especially the bed in the Master (wow). Dildo (not kidding), Brigus, Salmon River cove, Mad Rocks"……….. trails, drives - this property is central to it all. The view from this property is simply awesome. So awesome that it makes the trip worthwhile in itself. Two big thumbs up.

Spectacular Stay at Belle Vue Cottage!

This home was spic and span and welcoming. It easily housed our family of five (three teengers and two adults - the boys got a room each! They loved it!). Every need was anticipated in the kitchen as we cooked supper our first night there and every utensil and cookware need was anticipated. A lovely selection of board games was also provided which we took advantage of and the decor was tasteful and warm with original paintings and handmade quilts. The views are out of this world gorgeous and a it has a beautiful deck to watch the waves from. It was too cold to use the fire pit so we will have to do so on our next visit :) The hosts were absolutely wonderful to work with even going so far as to offer having a birthday cake waiting for us when they found out that we were staying there for my husband's birthday weekend. There was a welcoming selection of bakery cookies waiting for us when we arrived which we thoroughly enjoyed. A five star rating for a five star property and hosts!
