As you enter Knotty Pines, you'll be greeted by a stunning spiral staircase, illuminated by an elegant chandelier in the foyer. The open concept design allows natural light to flood the space through a wall of windows, offering breathtaking lake views from every angle. The seamless flow of the home allows easy access to the living room, dining room, and kitchen, making it perfect for spending time with family and friends.

Off the foyer, you'll find a formal dining room with seating for eight, ideal for meals or gathering together. The spacious living room is outfitted with a large sectional and plenty of comfortable chairs, providing ample space for everyone to relax while enjoying the views of the lake or watching TV.

Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen, which features a dining table for six and four barstools at the kitchen counter. The fully stocked kitchen boasts all-new appliances and everything you'll need to prepare a perfect meal for your group to enjoy. The main level, with brand-new flooring and fresh paint throughout, also includes the primary bedroom with its en suite bath, complete with dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a separate shower—a perfect retreat at the end of the day.

The upper level has been fully renovated and includes four stylish and comfortable bedrooms. As you reach the top of the stairs, you'll find a beautifully decorated queen bedroom with French doors, all-new furniture, and bedding. This room also boasts incredible views of the lake. At one end of the upper level, two bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom. One of these bedrooms is a fun bunk room with two twin-over-full bunk beds, bean bags, a TV, and a child-sized teepee for the kids to enjoy hours of imaginative play. The other bedroom features a cozy and comfortable king bed. On the opposite side of the upper level is a large, beautifully decorated king en suite bedroom, offering plenty of space and a peaceful retreat.

The basement has been completely converted into a family-friendly getaway space. It includes a full kitchen with a dishwasher, refrigerator, disposal, microwave, and stove, so you can easily prepare snacks or meals. The large living room features a sectional sofa and a ping pong table—perfect for some friendly family competition. The lower level also has two additional bedrooms: one with two queen beds and another with a king bed, offering plenty of space for everyone.

Knotty Pines offers direct access to the lake, with a pontoon available to rent for your enjoyment through your local AvantStay team. - A maximum of 2 pets are allowed at this home. Pets must be approved in advance and are subject to an additional fee of $175 per pet. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- No events, group gatherings, or parties are allowed at any AvantStay property under any circumstances.
- Due to natural fluctuations, we’re unable to provide specific water depth information at any given time. The majority of docks in this area are generally suitable for most average-sized pontoons and ski boats. However, since boat drafts can vary, guests are encouraged to refer to Lake Norman nautical charts, GPS systems, and depth maps—and rely on their own knowledge of their vessel’s specifications—to ensure safe navigation.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.
