THE SPACE
This spacious property sits up high on the corner of Strand and McCarthy with TWO sandy beach access points just steps from the home. You can also bring your toys, there is plenty of extra parking on this oversized lot. Sunset bonfires are permitted on the beach (time for S'mores!) and you only have to walk out the door onto the sand to find your special spot. You will have the entire beach as your own backyard playground.

There is plenty of room for your families to sprawl out in this 1901 sqft home with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, perfect for entertaining inside and out. This area is among the most popular and unique of California State Parks. The 5 1/2 miles of beach open for vehicle use and the dunes available for off-highway motor vehicle recreation are attractions for visitors from throughout the United States. Oceano Dunes is the only California State Park where vehicles may be driven on the beach. Four-wheel drive / all-wheel drive vehicles are recommended for driving on the beach . Beach wheelchairs are available for loan at the Pier and Grand Avenue entrance to the beach. Surfing, swimming, surf fishing, horseback riding, and bird watching are popular activities. Just a few miles up the coast you'll find more activities like kayaking, cycling, wakeboarding, board walking, wine tasting and so much more! Also close to restaurants, shopping, and medical attention.

GUEST ACCESS
Guests have access to the entire property, including the spacious living areas, ocean-view kitchen, and outdoor deck and yards. There are two Queen bedrooms on the first floor, each with patio/yard access. On the second floor, you'll find the primary bedroom w/ a Cal King bed, adjoining a large bonus bedroom with 2 Queen beds. Floor plans are included in property photos.

The house comfortably sleeps 11, has recently been renovated with a Cali beach vibe, and offers tons of amenities like a keurig, washer/dryer, plush towels, comfortable beds/bedding and bath amenities.

Your pup is invited to enjoy our designated fully fenced dog yard, affectionately named the 'Strandcastle Paw Palace'!

To make your pet's stay as comfortable as possible:

-Soft dog beds are available in the garage—one can be placed inside the wine barrel dog bed in the Strandcastle Paw Palace.
-An adorable "Sun Maid" dog bed is also in the garage and can be brought inside if you'd like.
-A cozy dog house is ready and waiting in the yard for your pup to relax outdoors.
-A handy waste bag dispenser is provided for your convenience.
-Included pet supplies: dog house, dog beds, blankets, bowls and beach towels for sandy paws!
