About this property

2 BR CONDO IN GRACE BAY, OCEAN CLUB WEST PLAZA

We have been the proud owners of this beautiful condo in the Plaza at Ocean Club West since April 2014. The beautifully landscaped resort is located in the heart of Grace Bay, consistently voted a top beach by Conde Nast, with wide white sandy beaches and clear blue Caribbean waters.

The Plaza is the building located closest to Grace Bay Road and is just a 5 minute walk from the beach. There is access to many of the resort’s amenities, including complimentary beach and pool lounge chairs and umbrellas, 2 lighted tennis courts, and a nicely equipped gym. The pool is large and meanders in a small lazy circle past lush landscaping and the Solana restaurant - a newly renovated outdoor cabana style restaurant just steps from the beach. It is great for a quick break from the sun, where you can get a snack and a cool beverage (including those for the adults!).

Our condo is equipped with everything you could want for your vacation home. It has large bedrooms, modern bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen for home-cooked meals, and a spacious dining room and living room with free Wifi access. We upgraded the beds and mattresses in November of 2015, and put in a new refrigerator and dishwasher in July of 2017.

If cooking isn’t on your itinerary, or shopping is what you have in mind, the Plaza’s convenient location puts fine dining and wonderful shops just minutes away - with no car needed. The fabulous French Caicos Bakery is just across the street, and one block further is the Jamaican Patty Place - our kids’ two favorite places to eat! Just blocks further is the shopping district of Ports of Call, Salt Mill Plaza and the Regent Village. After you have shopped to your heart’s content, head into one of the restaurants there like Thai Orchid (don’t ask for spicy unless you mean it!), Mango Reef or Bella Luna. For a romantic candlelit dinner under the palms, head in the other direction to Coco Bistro - fine dining at its best. After dinner there, stop in for a short while at Casablanca Casino on your way home.

If more athletic endeavors are what attract you, the Provo Golf Club is nearby. Snorkeling and diving expeditions can be set up, as well as many other type of water activities. We can even put you in touch with a travel agent who specializes in all things Provo, if you want completely hassle-free vacation planning.

Our host Jenny, will be at your service during your check-in and check-out times. She is a caring and competent individual with a wealth of information who would be happy to help you get the most from your vacation.

We are so excited to be condo owners in the beautiful, tropical Turks and Caicos Islands. We want to share our home with you and hope that you will find it as relaxing, peaceful and rejuvenating as we have.

Our stay in the condo was exactly what we were looking for - the place is clean, well-appointed and large! Four a group of four women, we were comfortable and could have some of our own spaces even at just two bedrooms. We were very close to the beach and excellent restaurants (looking at you, Coco Van, Embers and Infiniti). The snorkeling equipment was an awesome bonus that we didn't expect. We're looking forward to coming back next year! Thank you Marjorie and Jenny for a great stay!

The location was perfect! We were right at Grace Bay Beach which is beautiful and can easily walk to restaurants and the grocery store. The condo is huge! Each bedroom has its own full bath plus another half bath by the living room. I’d definitely stay here again!

Walk to paradise

Nice spacious condo. Beach was great w chairs/umbrellas/long walks/calm waves, nice pool and walk to food/shops. In the Top 3 beaches I’ve seen….just know it’s quiet, not a party scene….come to relax! Yet, also Plenty of water sports/activities to select from w vendors right at the beach. Felt safe and welcome. Bring cash as lots of non-cc takers including taxis.

Property is as described - clean, two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and great living room, kitchen and dining room. You have are a few minute walk to the beach and pool and very close to stores (including grocery). Checkin was super easy and host provides great recommendations. Highly recommend

The condo comfortably slept 5. The location is wonderful with access to the pool, beach and close to the town/restaurants. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. Very happy with this condo. We’d definitely choose to stay here again!

This is our 3rd trip back to Turks. Have stayed previously at the Palms and Seven Stars. If you are looking for a home away from home, and to save a little money, this is it! Very quick walk to the resort pool and the beach and all the amenities. Perfect Beach. Perfect Pool. Plenty of chairs always. Loved the walking proximity to town and several great restaurants - Infinity, Le Bouchon, Grace's Cottage, Coco Bistro, the Deck. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Turks & Caicos!

Quick and easy long weekend in Turks

We had a great time at this comfortable and very centrally located condo. The living areas are clean, spacious, and well-equipped. The grocery store is a short and easy walk, and there are all kinds of restaurants and bars nearby. We never had a problem finding open beach chairs/umbrellas even when we got a late start to the day. Jenny was immediately responsive on wh*ts*app and couldn't have been nicer. We would love to visit again!

Relaxing winter getaway

This was a nice spot for our vacation at Turks and Caicos! We spent time on the beach, pool and tennis court (only 3 rackets at the condo)! The condo was spacious and we were able to relax and spend time together. The location was great as well!

Great spot, great island

We had the best time on Grace Bay, and absolutely loved the Ocean Club West. We found the condo very spacious, very clean, fully functional, and convenient to all that Grace Bay has to offer. Marjorie and Jenny were both so helpful and friendly - we will definitely be back.

Great Spring Break Trip

We are a family of four who have been coming to Turks and Caicos with our cousins and their family almost every year since 2010. Snorkeling quickly became one of the few sports that our entire family could do together, probably because it allows one to take things in at their own pace, while still being able to share the experience with those around them. The island has also become one of the few places that my husband can truly relax, because things get done on “island time” - a phrase you will hear often.

We started toying with the idea of buying a vacation home after our cousins bought their own place in the Plaza. We decided to make it a family affair and look forward to sharing it with you.

PS - One of the most memorable things about our first visit was the absolute clarity of the beautiful blue waters. We decided to name our condo after the starfish, or Asterie, that we could see while snorkeling in front of the resort - even though they were at least 20 feet down! So come and visit Villa de Asterie!

Why they chose this property

We had stayed in the Plaza, and Unit #207, several times. We cannot stress enough how happy we are with its location. The resort’s amenities are just steps away, and the resort staff are wonderful. We love this stretch of beach, and have spent many happy hours just sitting in the sand and then running into the water to snorkel and shell hunt. And we have found that everything we needed was just a short walk from the condo. We love the Caicos Bakery across the street, and visit it almost every morning. If our kids had their way, we would be eating lunch from the Patty Place every day, especially if we also followed it with their delicious ice cream. The nearby Graceway Gourmet IGA has all the food and household necessities we could want, as well as a nice selection of beer, wine and alcohol. Our family enjoys the evening walks we often take to “downtown” for dinner or shopping. It is a comfortable place in a safe, beautiful location, and we look forward to enjoying it for years to come.

What makes this property unique

We have looked at several units in the Plaza, and were pleased when this particular unit became available. It is modern, clean, and spacious. We also especially like being an end unit, as the windows on the end let in the morning light, and the living area is larger than some of the other units.
