Charming, quiet and most comfortable home.

For over 20 years, we have booked homes in Key West, mostly for the month of November. This home was charming, nestling quietly behind a gated collection of five or six individual homes. Two and half bedrooms, two baths, a secluded deck, and vaulted ceilings made for a very comfortable stay. The neighborhood offers easy walking access to one of Fausto's grocery store, Higgs Beach, and upper Duval, yet close far enough away from the more touristy end of northern Duval. We received timely attention from the management group on helping with any needs. All and all, we would come back.

I had a small problem with the AC and they someone out in 15 minutes and it was repaired in 20 minutes. I had a wonderful experience.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a truly beautiful house. I would be even more positive but I selfishly want to keep it to ourselves! The closest major cross road is white street and whilst a little way outside of the Main historic district. It comes with its own charm and positive elements. As long as you have bikes, you can easily turn the location from a minor negative into a major positive.The small garden area is a perfect size for bbq's, the property has its own parking space which is a huge bonus, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, it is maintained to the highest standard and when we did need someone to see to the bathroom, the managing company had someone there within a few hours. I could not rave about this house anymore. There are enough words to express how much we enjoyed our time here. If I was going to nick-picky I would say the tv and old cable system is not befitting of such a wonderful property but the truth is if your spending your time watching tv whilst in key west then you have to seriously question what you are doing here! overall 10/5 experience! Book this property and you will be thanking yourself for years to come!

The Pearl was fine; the weather not.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The original place we rented, a condo at La Brisa overlooking the ocean at Smather's beach, was covered in mold when we got there. The rental agent came quickly, agreed the place was not livable, and showed us several alternate properties. We settled on The Pearl in Paradise. It was a very nice 2-BR, 2 Bath property, with a shared pool, in a quiet section of Key West, with a lovely back yard. It was very clean and had everything we needed. It was too long a walk to the beach or Duval St., but we had rented a car, so getting around was no problem, and the place had private parking. The weather was the problem--it rained 5 days out of 7, so beach time was limited. We did get one day of excellent fishing in. However, we won't be going back to Key West in July.

Reviewer Comments: biggest downside is the french doors don't close properly allowing bugs to enter and a/c to escape, and the patio because of the trees keeps getting moldy and slippery, but overall a nice place to vacation

Reviewer Comments: beautiful, well-kept home with private garden and shared pool...3 very good restaurants within 5 min walk, great local grocery store 5 min walk..only used our car a few times..we walked to Duval St and beach (15-20 min) or on bike much shorter time!!park your car, rent a bike, enjoy privacy on your "own" patio or the hustle/bustle of Duval St. we highly recommend this home for your Key West location!
