About this property

Pure Serenity at Harbour Sounds- open and airy. A quick walk to the beach

'Harbour Sounds' is our beautiful updated 3 Bedroom, 2.5 Bath home located in breath taking Bodega Bay. Sleeps 6. Best for 6 adults or 4 adults and 2 kids.

Bodega Bay is less than 1.5 hours north of the Golden Gate Bridge. We have installed all new flooring, paint, carpet and bedding that we'd love to share with you!

'Harbour Sounds' is on the 14th tee of the golf course, within walking distance to the clubhouse, and Doran State Beach.

Our beach home includes a nice open floor plan with a private hot tub, gas fireplace, outdoor gas grill, outdoor gas fire pit , washer/dryer, plenty of parking, views of the harbor from our back patio and the soothing sounds of Bodega Bay.

Sleeps 6. Perfect for either one large family, two families or three couples or a mellow girls or guys weekend.

It has a modern open floor plan with WiFi, Large HD TVs (52 " smart tv in the great room), Wii, books, board games and free long distance.

Come and enjoy the whole home and hot tub. There is a public golf course and club house with a restaurant and bar that you will have access to. The beach is a 10 minute walk.

We have recently have gone green and have installed solar panels and are using bath products, soaps and detergents that are more natural.

We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, dish soap.

We have. a wii gaming system in the upstairs bedroom.

Activities in Bodega Bay are unlimited. Popular activities in the area include; hiking, beach combing, swimming, surfing, abalone diving, golf, mountain biking, tennis (in town and not in the Harbour) fishing, kite boarding, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, wine tasting and more. Bodega Bay is close to the quaint and scenic towns of the Sonoma coast, Jenner, Guerneville, Sebastopol, Valley Ford, Inverness, Dillon Beach and more.

The home was clean, open, and so comfortable with a lovely view (deer just outside the door grazing on the golf course!). Being able to see the bay from the patio was a treat also. Loved the stocked kitchen, and the perfect large table for family game time. Hot tub was a bonus! We will definitely be back!

Does Not Disappoint!

We stay at a lot of vacation rentals and they never fully live up to the pictures but this beach house does! Not only did the pictures capture the charming and cozy house, the communication with the host was excellent. Honestly, we did not want to leave. We cant wait to go back. Highly recommend it!

Just what we were looking for!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the property. The house was fully stocked with everything needed. It was clean, and in a great location to walk to the beach or clubhouse for dinner. The hot tub was a definite bonus amenity. Our only regret is that we only stayed 2 nights!

Wonderful coastal vacation

This was a BEAUTIFUL property and exactly what we needed to get away from the heat. Plenty of space for all of us, I will just say I don’t recommend younger kids here as it was not very kid friendly for under 5; a lot of beautiful things that could easily break. Other than that, the location was wonderful, the beaches were amazing, and we made some great family memories here.

Beautiful Home and Location

Home was very clean and had great atmosphere. Loved all the natural light and natural surroundings. Well stocked kitchen for making family meals. Hot tub, laundry, great water pressure and cozy beds! Great family gathering place!

We stayed with my parents and our children (6 and 2 years old) during my daughter’s spring break and had a lovely time. The house had everything we might need (games, hot tub, towels, kitchen equipment) and the location: so close to beautiful beaches, hiking, fresh seafood, and even a big culdesac for roller skating 😊. Our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. We created a lot of wonderful memories here.

We are a fun active family of five that loves the outdoors. My stay at home mom job is to manage our vacation rentals and our family. I love to spend time with family and friends and to live life to its fullest- could be exercising, relaxing or playing.

Why they chose this property

We loved the classic beach house look of the house, the light, the open feel to it and the open space behind us. We also love that it is on a court and very quiet and a quick 10 minute walk to the beach. We love the sounds of the Harbour from the front of our home and the great Harbour views from our back patio.

What makes this property unique

Bodega Bay is a bit of a hidden gem- so close to San Francisco and the bay area but yet you feel like you so far away. This was our immediate draw to the area but have fallen in love with many other things about Bodega Bay and the surrounding area.

The minute you pull up to the Harbour it is a such a breath of fresh air - I immediately relax. I love the sounds of the fog horn and seals that you can faintly hear from our home- hence the name Harbour Sounds. This is pure relaxation!!

We are located on a quiet court with plenty of parking for friends or family that might join you for the stay or the day. 3 cars Maximum overnight per Sonoma County code Section 26-88-120.

We are lucky - our home is very open with plenty of natural light. I have set it up to be very comfortable with a large sectional couch with reclining ends, a 52 inch Smart tv with you tube tv, Netflix and a docking station for your music and comfortable beds and bedding for a great nights rest.

We are set up with books, magazines, games and movies to enjoy during your stay. Our kitchen is well stocked for cooking at home and for day to day living.

Our back patio is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon BBQ and drinks and to enjoy the scenery or watch a bit of golf.

We have a large private hot tub for your enjoyment as well.

We are in close proximity to Sebastapool, Occidental, Freestone (Osmosis Spa- fabulous place) and the town of Bodega- all cute and quaint and provide many things to do.

We also rent out properties in Bear Valley, CA in the Sierra Nevadas, with all the beautiful skiing, snow sports and summer mountain activities.

While we're enjoying Bear Valley or Bodega Bay, we often rent our home in Marin County CA, just north of the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, CA
