Functioned but dated

The condo functioned as expected but was dated. The dishwasher and microwave handle were both broken. The location and resort were amazing. For the price paid, we could have rented a much nicer and updated unit.

I have stayed at the San Luis condos many times before, but I guess it's true, beggars can't be choosers. This was one of the last units available and I can see why. Everything is outdated, the furniture, kitchen, etc. And the drapes were broken and weren't operating properly (the drawstrings were/are hanging down and not functional.) In the future, I will be scheduling well in advance to get a decent unit... or do it off season. Very disappointed.

Gulf vacation

The location was good but Galveston has changed since the last time we visited. It has got so noisy and congested!! The unit was ok. For the unit to be attached to the “elite hotel” it wasn’t up to that standard in the room. Could tell the maintenance/upkeep was not a priority. Extra bedding on the floor, cobwebs in kitchen, floor sticky, and could tell they tried to touch up the scrapes in walls but paint didn’t match. So that’s why I feel the property is trying to be an “upscale” resort by name but not by quality
