We had an awesome time and the location is ideal. The beds were not super comfortable and the second bedroom is very small, but it was overall a great trip.

Excellent location! Really got to enjoy the beach, which is right across the street. Absolutely love New York, Maine, and have been coming here for years..The house was a bit small for us because we are tall people and three of the four of us are female-one bathroom and half a closet for the whole house was a little challenging with getting ready for wedding activities.The hosts were very responsive and we would definitely recommend this to a small family or a couple..

Great spot and accommodations

This place is in a perfect area, right across the road from the beach. Perfect for a small family or for a quick get away for larger family. It is newly updated and very clean. I would definitely recommend!

Perfect weather and location: during the low tide the sandy beach right across the home is great for kids to play on. The mattresses are not very comfy for my preferences. All else was great!

The location on Long Beach Avenue was across from the beach - must walk across rocks to reach the beach in low tide. Access to sandy beachfront is within a 3/4 mile walk on sidewalk. Unit would be quite comfortable for a couple. Additional people have no privacy. Bedrooms and bathroom are quite small. Kitchen/dining are a good size and can accommodate 6 people. With some fairly basic improvements the unit could be more comfortable - hooks for towels & clothes, for example. Air conditioning in kitchen/dining area does little to cool off main bedroom. The two window fans provided were of some help (especially at night when the air cooled off some).

Good location, very small bedrooms

The location on Long Sands Beach is nice. The unit is represented as a two bedroom, 1 bathroom unit that could sleep 6 people. One bedroom contains a queen bed and a 4-drawer dresser in a room with about one foot of space on three sides of the bed. The second bedroom is a long, narrow room with beds placed end to end with a dresser between the feet of the bed. There is about 1 foot of walk space along one side of the beds and no door on the room (thus, no privacy). This second bedroom is directly off the kitchen/dining room which can accommodate six people. There were plenty of cocktail glasses but only 4 regular 10 oz drinking glasses and 4 juice glasses. The utensils included many forks and enough teaspoons and knives but no tablespoons. There was a good supply and variety of other cooking utensils. The entry living room contained a couch and two chairs and was a good size. There was a sliding door between the TV room and kitchen with a missing handle so we left the door partially open at all times. Our check-in was complicated by an inability to unlock the door using the instructions received from VaCasa. The lock system remained a challenge often requiring multiple attempts. Our coffee maker was not a drip coffee maker as advertised (we brought ground coffee), Instead, it was a Keurig coffee maker that leaked water on the counter. There were no towel racks, hooks, or places to hang clothing. It was clean. Recommend adding some comfort items and bedroom privacy options.
