This recently updated and nicely decorated unit has a stunning lake view, creating a relaxing atmosphere. This 2nd-floor unit has a queen bed and queen sofa pull-out, a 50” TV, a medium-sized refrigerator and freezer, a 4-top stove and oven combo, a microwave, all the necessary items to create a simple meal, and a square 4-top table. The bathroom and vanity have been updated, giving the area a spa-like feel. This unit has a balcony with a lake view and is also steps away from one of our two saunas and the fireplace lounge.
Our units are equipped with various amenities to cater to your needs, including free internet access, a sofa sleeper, a flat-screen television with Direct TV service, a mini refrigerator and microwave, a coffee station, a fan, a hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Featuring a private beach and an on-site marina in summer, Donner Lake Village is near plenty of spots for hiking and skiing. After getting back from hiking or skiing, guests of the Donner Lake Village can wind down in the on-site sauna. Laundry facilities and free parking are also provided at the hotel. Donner Summit is just 2.5 mi away from Donner Lake Village. Historic Downtown Truckee is only an 8-minute drive from Donner Lake Village. Lake Tahoe is 19 mi away.

A nice surprise

Room small but expected and when out skiing most of the day, that doesn't matter as much. Bring own spices, etc as kitchen sparse. However surprisingly quiet place. Easy access to I80. Absolutely loved the indoor lounge with the fire overlooking the lake. Next time will make use of the sauna. Enjoyed the stay.

Donner lake

i have stayed at this property numerous times. Dealing directly with Front desk. This time i got routed through VRBO handed off to a off site property manager, although helpful had to walk me through both payments, it was not charged automatically. I had to hunt down the access codes which were supposed to be sent automatically. not smooth.! but the property and hotel are lovely .hotel a good solid B+,property absolute A! if you can navigate the booking check in better than I? you will enjoy your stay
