Mountain Oasis for 2 in Tahoe Donner
Approx. 1/4 mi. to the TD Downhill ski area & the Alder Creek Adv. Center/x- country ski area. Tahoe Donner golf course is available to you.(seasonal) Alder creek is located at the edge of our property. We live full time in the upstairs unit. The upstairs main living area, occupied by us, is locked off from access by guests. Sm. Fridge, Microwave, Coffee maker, coffee & dishes are in the apartment for your use. We relocated to Truckee from Southern California in 2015. We are now enjoying all that the Truckee/Lake Tahoe area has to offer. We both work full time in Truckee. Skiing and Boating are our favorite things to do and this area is just that! We hope you will consider staying in our apartment and look forward to meeting you!
Why they chose this property
Our apartment is perfect for two people looking for a getaway. We give you as much privacy as you need. We do live full time in the upstairs portion of the home. We are very quiet, but you may hear light footsteps when we are home. There is a deck off the apartment with a beautiful view of the meadow. Sit and enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. You may see deer while sitting out here which is always an amazing sight! You will have a private entrance through the garage which is not a grand entrance but as soon as you enter the apartment you will love the space. Parking is on the driveway which is flat and easily accessible. If you are visiting during the winter you will need chains or a 4wheel drive. Our roads around the house are plowed early.

So many things to do here in Truckee! See the amenities when you Google "things to do in Truckee" for other activities in the area. Tahoe Donner is one of the largest homeowners association in the United States with over 6000 owners. Ski Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl and Boreal which are all close by. Tahoe Donner Cross Country Center is two blocks from the house and is a world-class cross-country area. Donner lake is 10 minutes away. Lake Tahoe is 25 minutes and a beautiful drive.
