Great property for a family vacation

We enjoyed our time staying at this property. Perfectly located a short distance to downtown Idaho Falls, white water rafting, and hiking St Mary’s Glacier. Would definitely book again.

Great get away

Everything was supplied. The beds are great and the owner is super easy to work with. Close to Idaho springs and not to far from black hawk.

The house was beautiful and spacious. I loved that the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and dishes. There were a fair amount of seasonings too. I respected that there were very few cleaning/checkout instructions. I am used to having multiple steps to follow when checking out, but it was very simple at this property. I think the pricing was fair too, and the location was good.

Great space for a group!

This home was everything we expected as we brought our youth group on pilgrimage. Not only did it have a huge dining room table to seat our entire group for meals together, the living area and also had more than adaquate seating. While the common areas were amazing, we especially appreciated the back decks for a moment of privacy as well as the sauna in the master bedroom! The location was so convenient with easy access to Interstate 70 while still being secluded and quiet! We had one mishap and the host was quick to communicate with us and gracious to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent house. Excellent cleaning. Excellent tranquility and very good view of the landscape. Excellent everything. I am sure that I will return to Colorado at another time and if it is available I will stay in this same house. I loved it. Many thanks to the host for all his attention. Thank you.

Great house with a beautiful view

This is a great house with beautiful views all around. Kerry Ann (the host) was very responsive every time I asked her questions. I love that this is a dog-friendly house because I almost always take my dogs on vacations with me. We were 8 people, but not all were couples. Between the 4 bedrooms and the sofa bed in the living room, we all fit. We cooked several times for our large group. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our meals. The dining room table seats 8 people, so we were all able to eat together. Note: Make sure you have a 4WD or AWD vehicle if staying here whenever it snows.

Response from VrboOwner on 1 Oct 2026
We’re sorry flight cancellations disrupted your plans and understand how disappointing that was. The home remained available for your stay, and your son stayed for one night. Because checkout was not completed through the booking platform until the reservation ended, the unused nights remained blocked from new bookings, preventing us from rebooking them. We had hoped to refund the cleaning fee. However, the overnight stay required cleaning, including additional carpet shampooing and bed sanitizing after a cat was brought into the home despite our clearly stated no-cat policy. We understand your frustration, but our refund decision reflected the inability to rebook the reserved dates and the cleaning services required. For future trips, travel insurance that covers flight cancellations and unused accommodations may help protect against similar unexpected losses.
