About this property
Modern Home In Heart Of Downtown Klamath Falls
Beautiful new flooring, re-textured walls, and fresh paint in every room give our home a bright, crisp feel. Tasteful furnishings and clean lines throughout will appeal to the weekend warrior passing through just as the memory foam mattresses, touch-activated kitchen faucet, and brand new washer and dryer will provide practical comforts for the extend guest.
We worked hard to create this beautiful, high quality resting place and look forward to sharing it with you!
Let our place be your hub for exploring the Klamath Basin! Located 42 miles from Crater Lake National Park to the North and the same distance from Lava Beds National Monument to the South. Downtown Klamath Falls` restaurants, bars, museums, and shops are barely one mile away. The outdoor types will find the nearby mountain trail system an excellent place for mountain biking, hiking, trail running and bird-watching.
Free parking on site.
I will be available via the phone! Feel free to give me a call if you need anything!
The home is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood that is a 5 minute drive to downtown Klamath Falls, or 15 minute walk. There is not much to do within walking distance, except visit the local mini-mart, but plenty within driving. The homes on the street are eclectic with some neighbors taking great care of their yards, and others not so much. The neighbor to the left of the home generally has an unkept yard including high grass, weeds and miscellaneous children`s toys.
The new bike lane is down the street.
10- 15 minute walk downtown( Farmers market, night life, shopping and restaurants.)
5 minute drive to plenty of hiking trails at Moore Park.
46 minute drive to Crater Lake National Park (Please note, shuttle transportation is limited and seasonal)
51 minute drive to Lava Bed National Monument
5 minute drive/25 minute walk to the AMTRACK station
- The mini-split is located on the wall in the living room. This is the sole unit for the entire home. Despite this, it does well cooling and heating the two bedrooms as the house is small at 780 square feet.
-Pets are not allowed on furniture and owner is expected to clean pet droppings. Additional fees will be charged if there is damage caused by the pet.
-The home was built in the 1920`s, walls are thin. You may notice faint sounds from the railroad track or the occasional neighborhood dog barking. I have put white noise machines in each of the rooms!
- EV charging station- 27 minute walk, 1.4 mile drive
- Tesla charging station- 50 minute walk, 2.4 mile drive
- You may notice some houses on the street are not aesthetically pleasing. It is still a safe neighborhood! I lived in the property for 4 years and never had an issue.
-We insure the property against guest-caused, accidental damage with the Safely Protection Policy. The cost of this protection is $25 per reservation and will be included in your rental rate. This fee provides coverage for minor accidental damages during your stay, giving you peace of mind and saving you the hassle of a large upfront hold, or a tedious refund process. It’s our way of making your stay stress-free while ensuring our homes are well cared for.
This is a residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are 10:00 P.M-7:00 A.M daily. Please be respectful of our neighbors. No parties!
Please do not flush towelettes, wipes, or sanitary napkins down the toilet as this is an older home.
Booking guest must be present for duration of the stay. Guests are not allowed to book on behalf of another party. Extra guests not listed in the booking need to be approved by me before entering the home. Overnight visitors can be coordinated for an extra fee.
No dogs, cats and/or pets are allowed on the furniture. This includes bedding, couches, tables, etc. Guest must clean up the droppings of their dogs, cats and/or pets.
-The trash bins are located outside. Step outside the front door, go left past the rocks, turn left and you will see the bins nestled against the house. There is a recycling bin (black lid) and trash bin (Green lid.) Trash is picked up every Monday.
-For safety and insurance purposes, charging electric vehicles (EVs) on the property is strictly prohibited. This includes the use of standard household outlets or extension cords. Guests are encouraged to use designated public EV charging stations nearby. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
-You will notice the ventless gas heater still on site. Please do not use the ventless gas heater.
