loved the place. Only suggestion is to have some living room furniture in the basement and move the bunk beds upstairs in the open area. No sitting area made it hard to enjoy as a family. The place was beautiful and would love to return when I can enjoy the wrap around porch and view!

We're so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at the cabin, Cheryl! Summer is an amazing time to enjoy the wrap-around porch so we hope you can come back to enjoy it then. We appreciate your thoughts on furniture rearrangement and will consider it as we continue to make the cabin the best place for families to relax and enjoy time together.
Our family loved everything about this house! It was super clean, extremely well stocked, and everything we had anticipated, and then some. The views from the house are outstanding and Kerry was a wonderful host! Answered all of our questions immediately, and was a pleasure to deal with would definitely stay there again
It was very quiet and we had everything we needed. Walls insulated well so you couldn’t hear everything going on when you were trying to sleep and everybody else was up. Enjoyed the campfire. It was very nice overall.
The check-in was extremely easy and the communucation with the host was absolutely delightful. We rented this cabin with our children and a few close friends to say I do. The views were perfect and the wrap around porch was great! We loved everything abouts this place!place!Ourranfromrange from
Everything went well. Perfect for family vacay. Upstairs for parents, main floor for us older grandparents and basement for kids and dogs! Everything you need. Speedy respones. Updated. Thank you.
This was a fantastic property to host our 3 generation family weekend getaway! There was plenty of space for all 13 of us and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for fixing our meals. The long dining table that could accommodate all of us for dinner was fantastic as well as the large family room on the main level where we could all congregate together. Since it rained all weekend, we made great use of the game room in the basement, playing many, many games of pool! We would have liked some comfortable seating in the basement for those that were watching or hanging out while the pool table, air hockey and video games were being put to good use, but it wasn't a deal breaker. A previous reviewer's suggestion of putting the bunk beds in the upstairs loft is a great idea-this would help when some stay up into the wee hours of the morning playing pool! The wrap around porch gave the kids a place to run and get some wiggles out even when the weather wasn't cooperative. The view all around the cabin is beautiful and the wrap around porch is a great place to relax, soak in the views and sunset. We were thankful that we had a break in the weather that allowed us to roast hotdogs and eat smores at the firepit, which is always a highlight of our weekends. Communication with the host was excellent with quick replies when we had a question. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever come back to this area!
This is a beautiful house, with a spectacular view. It is well equipped, the kitchen especially so.
Cleanliness is downgraded because the sheets on 3 of our beds were wet (either had not been in the dryer or not long enough) and one bed was unmade. I am sure this is not a usual thing here.
The description is downgraded because this is listed as a 7 bedroom. Three of the "bedrooms" are in the basement and are not legal per building code (IRC), ie., they have no windows or proper alternative method of egress, hence are not safe for bedrooms.
Very comfortable stay, amazing views from all sides of the house. We found the kitchen well apportioned with everything we needed. Great place for a large group. We enjoyed the company of some friendly cows nearby, lots of gold finches and blue jays, and even a humming bird.
I was a little hesitant about booking a pet-friendly property because my family and I are very sensitive to pet odors and hair. After reading several reviews praising how clean the home was, we decided to book it—and I'm so glad we did.The property met and exceeded our expectations. It was exceptionally clean, with absolutely no pet odor or hair anywhere. The location was fantastic and made it easy to enjoy our long Fourth of July weekend, especially our trip to Noah's Ark.I highly recommend this property specially for large families or groups. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly book it again if we decide to visit Kentucky again.
