Josephine’s Carriage House is located in Savannah’s celebrated Victorian District, just west of Bull Street and only 3.5 blocks from Forsyth Park. The property sits roughly midway between River Street to the north and the Starland Art District to the south, making it a convenient base for exploring the city.
Many of Savannah’s popular attractions are within walking distance for some guests, including the Railroad Museum, SCAD Art Museum, the Design District, and Broughton Street shopping. Restaurants, shops, and bars are just a few blocks away. A Kroger grocery store is located on the opposite side of Forsyth Park and is walkable for many visitors.
The Victorian District is an area of active renovation and thoughtful development, giving the neighborhood a lively and evolving feel. The architecture ranges from charming late-1800s homes to grand Italianate and Queen Anne–style mansions. Walking to and around Forsyth Park feels like an architectural tour in itself.

Parking is first come, first served. On-site parking is available immediately to the left of the building. Free on-street parking is also available on W. Park Ave. and Montgomery St. Please be sure to read all posted signage and note any street-cleaning restrictions that may require moving your vehicle.
