We were greeted with fresh pastries from the local amish market. Home was everything we wanted it to be. Would stay there again if we ever come back to the area.
Mommy, daddy and 4 little boys had a blast. Room to relax, room to run around, so clean and well stocked. What a gem in the middle of Honey Brook. Thank you
We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin in Amish country. Wished we could have stayed longer but we were only in town for a wedding. We were greeted with delicious carrot muffins and a personalized note. The cabin was immaculate and very homey. We felt very much at home. Woke up to an aforable bull and horses in the pastures next door. We definitely would book again!
This was a perfect, cozy getaway with my husband for our anniversary. The host was phenomenal with communication and so very thoughtful to provide fresh muffins and a hand-written note for our anniversary. The information book was also a spectacular touch, giving us ideas on local spots and even takeout menus! Truly a great stay.
We had a super great stay! This place was cozy and welcoming... and the host had lots of personal touches throughout. There were lots of fresh cut flowers, fresh baked muffins, and snacks. We would love to come back!
Had all the necessities and more! The kitchen was stocked with alot of cooking supplies. Kitches was nice and big. Lots of space for family sit and hang out. Beds were comfortable. Place was very clean and the host left us fresh muffins that were delicious! Would stay here again
We really enjoyed our stay here. The area is quiet and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The cabin is spacious. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t see any dust or dirt, not even a smudge on anything. The shower in main bathroom downstairs is phenomenal. We will book again.
One of my favorite spaces I’ve ever rented. A lovely home in a beautiful setting. The communication with the owner was excellent, the space provided everything we needed as promised in the listing in terms of space, plus a lot of extra touches like coffee station, fresh baked muffins, lovely furnishings, stoneware dishes/mugs (as well as dishware options for little kids) and a well equipped kitchen. Having stayed in many rental spaces, this was easily the cleanest I’ve ever rented. This means a lot to me and was much appreciated. Will happily return in the future.
This cabin was a perfect set up for traveling with another couple. We really enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the mornings before going off for the day and in the evenings when returning. It is a beautiful setting! Thank you for sharing your log home with us.
This quaint log cabin is located within a serene landscape. Truly the most peaceful place I have ever vacationed. The cabin’s layout was perfect for my older parents, with a large bed and bath on the main floor. The inviting covered porch was the perfect place to take in the scenery and listen to many song birds serenade while you watch other wildlife scurrying across the expansive yard. The neighboring horses grazing will mesmerize along with the occasional horse drawn buggy passing by. Truly a relaxing venue. Our hosts corresponded appropriately and promptly. They even left us fresh muffins, that were delicious! Will definitely plan on lodging here again and may even stay during a different season. Can only imagine the changing colors in the fall.
I booked this wonderful cabin for a sisters getaway weekend and my sisters and I couldn't have been more pleased. Joanna responded quickly to our questions prior to arriving. We found delicious muffins on the counter when we walked in. Everything was spotless, the kitchen and bathrooms had everything we needed, and the beds were oh so comfortable. The cabin is off the beaten path but close enough to local towns to get out for shopping and seeing the area. And the area is so peaceful, nestled amongst the local Amish. So restful and enjoyable! My sisters and I will definitely return!
When your tasked to find a place to stay for a group of people it can be stressful. Not everyone has the same wants and needs. I somehow was the one who ended up choosing the house. Overall it was an excellent choice, and this was not solely me saying this. Everyone in our group was more than pleased. My only negative is a positive; that the photos didn't do the house and property justice. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are updated and clean. While we didn't do any cooking, the kitchen was more than adequate. The living room was perfect for the 4 of us and the couches are comfortable. Good size dining room table, which we used when we brought meals back to the house. We prefer a quiet setting, which it was. Have been staying at hotels for many years and this was a great change. Morning coffee on the front porch was perfect and the horse and cows grazing next door were pleasant company. If you need to be close to a lot of restaurants and other activities, map the house to the places you'll be visiting. We enjoyed being away from the busy streets and enjoyed cruising back roads around the farms. Very pleased and would stay again.
