About Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Associates
We currently live in New Jersey, though Lynn was raised in Connecticut and Bryan was raised on Long Island, NY. We have 2 children - a 5 yr old son and our 'first child' - our 13 yr old German Short Haired Pointer.
Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Associates purchased this House in 2014
Why Coldwell Banker Whitbeck Associates chose Lake Placid
Our family has vacationed in Lake Placid during both the summer and winter months over the past few years and after falling in love with the town and the plethora of activities available, we purchased Lodged Between 2 Lakes in June 2014. Lake Placid holds a special place in our heart - in 2012 Bryan competed in Ironman Lake Placid, in 2013 we taught our son to ski at Whiteface, and in 2014 we sought to make Lake Placid our new vacation home - however, after both our son and dog spent the first weekend in June swimming in Mirror Lake they would have voted to make it our permanent home! It's gorgeous 4 seasons long in Lake Placid and no matter what your fancy, it offers something for everyone - hiking, cycling, swimming, mountain climbing, boating, horse shows, skiing, sledding, ice skating, hockey and more.
What makes this House unique
After having rented multiple houses in Lake Placid we fell in love with Lodged Between 2 Lakes due to it's proximity to town and the lakes (both walking distance), its beautiful adirondack furnishings, and unique spaces for entertaining both inside and outside. When staying in Lake Placid we have always had our son, as well as other friends or family who stayed with us. Our home offers 3 unique spaces for entertaining: the great room, semi-private den (on same level as great room), or the separate family room downstairs. While I love having the kids with us, it's nice for them to have separate spaces to play or watch a movie so the adults can relax together. Additionally, the porch that runs the full length of the house is the perfect place for evening cocktails or for playing with the kids.

Great house in lp
Stayed in many homes in lake placid and this is by far the BEST! Clean, roomy and private yet very close to all lp has to offer.
Great family vacation in Lake Placid
The space was perfect for our family. We enjoyed the games and hot tub on the property. I loved cooking on the Wolf range! Very clean and very nice - highly recommend.

Wonderful home and vacation, beautiful town!
Fantastic House
We stayed here at Lodged Between 2 Lakes for 4 nights. We had 8 couples, 1 child and 2 dogs and everyone absolutely loved it. Very large open floor plan upstairs where we had a large dinner gathering the night before the half Ironman race. The master bedroom and bath is located on the main floor and there is a Powder room as well. There are 3 more bedrooms downstairs with 2 full baths and a game room. Very clean, well decorated, comfy beds, plenty of linens and a fully stocked kitchen and several TV's throughout. Hot tub was great as we hit nearly freezing temps on Saturday night the 8th. There is a large wrap around deck on the main level so we put a baby gate at the entrance so our dogs could hang outside with us without venturing off. Downstairs is a covered porch with large brick sides and carpet where we also were able to have our dogs with us (we just put a chair next to the hot tub so they couldn't escape). We were a little over a mile from town, which some of us walked a few times, but there are some hills and no walkway on the street in front of the house. It wasn't bad though so I did walk my dogs down the street to get to sidewalks and all the cars were very cautious. Driveway is rather narrow for trucks and it is one big loop with trees on both sides so that made it a little tricky for our trucks. I'm sure cars would be fine. Overall, we had a great time and are already planning to come back. Thanks for everything! ~Dale
Dale, thank you for the lovely response. Looking forward to having you back with us again. Kind regards, Ann
Loved this home!
My family was in Lake Placid for my daughters wedding and we stayed at this property. This house fit us so well. Plenty of room for entertaining (I hosted 3 meals for family)! The bridal party got ready here and we were able to take beautiful pictures of the bride and bridesmaids. The house had everything we needed.
The house is beautifully decorated. The realty company was very accommodating and available to answer any questions. Can't wait to go back!!
Thank you Ann. I am so pleased that you enjoyed LB2L. Looking forward to having you with us again. Again, congratulations!!!! Ann
Fantastic property! Would definitely recommend it!!
Perfect in every way: location, comfort, size. Loved it!
