Our family of 6 adults and a 6 year old stayed at this house 3/6-3/9 2026. We skied at Whiteface. The house was perfect. Everything we needed was provided. The home is so well done and decorated. The beds were very comfortable. We had the best weekend ever.

We had a great stay. The house was exactly as pictured and we had no issues with anything in the house. We stayed over the weekend with a big storm and -30 temps and the house was nice and warm all weekend. The driveway was not plowed when we arrived, but it was ployed the next day after we asked.

The house it’s at a great location, walking distance to many attractions and restaurants, we really enjoyed our stay, will rent again. The only downfall to our stay was the driveway, it was not plowed and than we had ice storm at night, the driveway was sheet of ice and we have had no salt to treat it. So maybe have couple bags of salt handy in case this happens again.

We asked and the guest said they took off a star because we had a big snow storm during the night and we did not clear the snow fast enough! Ha, it snows sometimes everyday in Placid, thats why its a Winter Wonderland! Thanks & Enjoy! Ray & Claire
