5 minutes to the beach and beach pool! Amazing location. Kitchen had blender and air fryer for nights in!Walmart just over 1 mile away for your groceries and has a liquor store too. Restaurants in walking distance!Super friendly hosts!

2 BR Close to the beach

Great location with nice amenities throughout the condo grouping including multiple pools, tennis courts, pickle ball courts, and a kids play area. Nice diner across the street.

Panama Beach

We had a great time! The beach was a 3 min walk and there was wagon to pull our chairs and umbrellas we brought! Restaurants were close and the kitchen was great for a quick breakfast or lunch!!

Property was nice. Beds weren’t the best but location and price were perfect. I will say it’s not a far walk to the beach and we had one of the closest units to the access. However IF you have a baby (which we did) or littles and carry a lot to the beach you may want a wagon. No fault of property. Just letting other renters know. Would definitely rent again. Also, washing machine worked great but would sound like it was going to take flight during rinse cycle. Just beware so it doesn’t scare you to death lol

Enjoyable stay

My family stayed here for about week during summer 2025. I found the description of the resort and location to be fairly accurate. Check-in went as described. From this location we had access to a number of local establishments and the beach and resort pools. I would stay here again if available. Contact person responded quickly to all questions and concerns we had.

Gulf highland resort has lots of amenities.Holly, are host was absolutely amazing with any issues we had and with keeping everyone informed about issues at the resort etc. When renting from others (if you have any issues) please give the host the opportunity to correct them before leaving bad reviews. They really do want you to enjoy your stay!

We replaced quite a few things inside the unit before you arrived & we had 2 cleaners in the condo that day as well as 3 inspectors. I wish you would have contacted us per the rental agreement you signed. We want to know these things. That way we can address things when guests are here so we can avoid reviews like this. Please contact our office. I would love to talk about what was noticed. So, we can approve going forward. We never heard from your you during the stay so we thought you guys were having a wonderful stay. I would love to chat. I would never want a guest unhappy when they checkout.

Great location but had some opportunities

Property is in need of a deep cleaning. Some of the furniture is chipped and in need of repair. I found a roach in my bathroom toiletries when I stored them under the sink. The location to the beach is great, but some of the other units in the neighborhood are in need of repairs. The management company includes disclaimers in all of the correspondence and signs around the condo that indicate all the charges you will incur for various things. It left the impression that they were going to find a way to fine you during the stay. We had evacuated for the hurricane and did not need the extra stress.

Dara, I am shocked by this review since we didn't hear from you during your stay other than you wanting to extend with us & booking an extra night. As you can see with all our reviews below, we go above & beyond when it comes to cleanliness. I wish you would have called me. Anything not up to your satisfaction I would have been more than happy to send cleaners back over. We typically don't do same day check ins so with everyone wanting in the same day because of the hurricane we worked really hard to get every unit ready to get people comfortable and settled. As a resident of Florida, I am shocked by the roach comment. We are located in Florida those are palmetto bugs not roaches. The unit is sprayed regularly & maintained. However just like your own home you will occasionally see a bug. In no way were the signs meant to scare you or indicate we will charge you for no reason. Our jobs as property managers are to ensure the integrity of the unit we manage is upheld. Just like if you owned a short-term rental I would imagine you would want the same courtesy from your Property Managers. As you can see by our wonderful reviews if you come & treat the unit with respect you will be just fine. You weren't charged for anything after your checkout with us. In no way was that to add added stress. I know you were unhappy with the nonrefundable pet fee we charged for your pet. However, that is stated in the listing. I would hope that future guests leave honest reviews based off your experience. Not negative review for fees that are stated in our listing before booking. I am sorry we didn't meet your standards during your stay with us. You were a pleasure to host. I am sorry for the reason you booked but happy we were able to host you. I wish you & your family very Happy Holidays.
