This was a very nice rustic cabin. The location was fantastic! Extremely close to Ash Cave. And centrally located to the rest of the park. The only negative is that the front door was difficult to open and close. It was sticking. But this would not prevent us from renting this cabin again. The view was very nice! The hot tub was clean and in great shape! Check in was a breeze! Worth renting!

For the most part the cabin was good. The cabin is an original so you have to take that into consideration. It’s more like clamping. There is a trail there that you can hike on. We absolutely loved that part.

The cabin was absolutely perfect. The hot tub was perfect upon arrival, if we had any questions the hosts responded almost immediately, and the location was great being right by Ash Cave and not far away from Le Petit Chevalier vineyards. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for the perfect get away and a secluded cabin!

Fantastic time. Very quiet and off the beaten path, but relatively close to Hocking Hills hiking trails. Be sure to check out the marked trail on the property that crosses the creek. Hottub was nice. There are a few minor maintenance/property issues that need addressed. Overall, it was very nice.

Great secluded location and the hot tub was the main perk for booking. Loved the serene views and feeling of no people around. The cabin itself was poorly stocked with basic equipment, threadbare towels, broken and chipped kitchen utensils and rusty pots and pans. All of the furniture was poorly thrifted and either non functional, falling apart or uncomfortable.

Cozy and secluded, the perfect cabin getaway!

We loved the rustic feel of the cabin. The fireplace added the extra fun environment to make it so cozy. The value for the experience was absolutely amazing, and I have already suggested friends to stay here! We had such a nice time, thank you!!!

This was our 2nd time staying in this adorable little cozy cabin, we love the serenity, the cave, the wildlife, the fire pit, the hot tub and that it’s close to a lot of hiking trails. We cannot wait to come back!

Relax

This cabin is on the end of the uphill road. Seclusive, extremely spacious for two. The cave on the premise is a wonderful addition of the nature appeal. Live room is huge. Fireplace is big. the porch is comfortably designed with sofa and swing chairs.

Perfect cabin getaway

The Russell cabin is everything we were looking for in a short getaway! Location is amazing, and the fire pit in the rock cave is awesome !

Second time ataying here. Loved how rustic and secluded this place is. The hill up to the cabin is steap. Had to walk up after venturing to get wood for the fireplace. Ill say...we brought 5 bundles for 3 nights and ended up going through 13 bundles! Worth every penny. My favorite was the little personal cave with a fire pit

Cabin was nice

We enjoyed our stay, the cabin was nice. Bed could be much better, otherwise it was good. We loved the hot tub after hiking all day. Make sure to bring chairs for around the fire.
