Really enjoyed our stay - this house is great for accommodating a large family and it has a ton of character

The location was very good with a short walk to town but on a street with no sidewalks.The kitchen and outdoor patio were also very nice.However the upstairs with most of the bedrooms is a bit of a mess with stairs that are incredibly steep and completely not child proof and difficult to use. The master BR sink was also very clogged.The place has its own charm, but for the price we paid, the linens could have been at least included.

Large home with lots of separate spaces to accommodate a 3 generation family as well as large spaces for all of us to gather. The home was beautiful, clean and very comfortable.

Great Home for a Family Gathering

We loved this rambling home on a beautiful piece of property. The focus of the living space is the kitchen, patio and three season room at the back of the house and we spent a great deal of time in those areas. The bedrooms are nicely spaced giving our multi-generational family room for individual time. Kitchen is very well equipped. The core of the house is over 200 years old and there are some wonky features. The stairs are very steep and the layout doesn't necessarily 'flow'. However, those are not listed as negatives, just things to be considered.Walkable to the center of Wellfleet but also a very private location.We hope to return to Briar Lane in the future.

Clean house with plenty of space for family

We had a great trip with our family. The house was clean and had plenty of space for all of us. Great location, close to town. Great yard for the kids to play too.
