About this property

Magical Family Vacation

Five generations of our family have made this gorgeous piece of lakefront property our oasis, our slice of heaven. We have seen many changes and have made significant improvements over the years from the original tiny trailer to the now beautiful home with lots of amenities that will make any family feel right at home.

Our home includes 3 BRs, 2 full Baths, a totally remodeled (2013) kitchen, LR with cable TV and DVD player, a family room with a dining area that looks out over the beach and lake, fold out futon for additional sleeping space and another cable TV with DVD player. A one-car garage includes a 2nd refrigerator and gas grill. The yard (lakeside) includes a patio, picnic tables and a glider under a huge old maple.

The piece de’ resistance is the massive expanse of a beautiful sandy beach with a walkway down to the crystal clear Missaukee Lake. There is a volleyball net available. There is a fire pit in the sand ready for those bon fires to roast hot dogs and marshmallows or just relax with a glass of wine and count the stars. You will be a witness to the most incredible sunsets that will take your breath away and leave you relaxed and content and ready for the best night’s sleep that prepares you for the next exciting day!

Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

Leave the work to us. If you would put out the trash and return the key to the keybox when you lock up and leave, that would be most helpful.

Don't forget your belongings and food items. We hope you enjoyed your stay at our lake home.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Maximum parking space for 4 vehicles of which 2 are curbside.

Gas grill available with extra tank. Please move grill outside of garage when in use.

Wonderful stay (again)

Nice little cottage on beautiful property with a great beach on a lovely lake. Owners are a pleasure to work with. Granddaughters (4) enjoyed swimming, fishing, and the bunk room.

Nice Family Getaway

Property has all you need for a stay at the lake. The beach area is nice with a volleyball net and room for beach games. One of the more reasonable places to stay. Good value for the price. Only complaint is the master bedroom mattress is difficult to get used to.

Enjoyable

This is a very nice rental. The association beach and water access are wonderful. The house is well laid out to allow each family member their own space. We especially enjoyed the board/card games. Additionally, the neighbors are extremely welcoming and helpful. My only recommendation is that the owner needs to do some updates. It was somewhat difficult to get a good night sleep because the mattresses have not been update in years. Carpeting is very difficult to keep clean throughout a rental season and we felt that could have been cleaner. We had a 9 month old with us. With all this said, this is a nice place to stay and I would recommend this rental.

Nice Cottage with all the necessities

This is a nice property right on the water. Great view of the lake. Plenty of places to sleep. However the master bed was very soft. Had all you need. Extra fridge/freezer in the garage was a nice surprise.

It has it all!

Great personal beach, very nice lake, and a quite lovely house. Nice quiet street to ride bikes on. The owner was very responsive to questions or any issues.

Pure Heaven

A family getaway that we will never forget. There was a great amount of space for my 3 kids and Husband. Lots of storage space for all of us to unpack and live very comfortable during our stay. The neighbors were all friendly and respectful, which is very hard to find at vacation spots. Our favorite part was waking up every morning and seeing the beautiful water right out the window. Absolute heaven!
