Top floor apt for 2 guests, 100 steps to pool or beach. Spectacular view from this open and unique 3rd floor unit, great for entertaining with a large equipped kitchen, bar counter, Barbecue, Pool Table, shuffleboard, games tables and more OR soulful relaxing on a Yoga mat or comfortable chairs to take in the views. Screened windows all around for 320+ degree views of Sea and Mountains, Sunrise & Sunset. Secure entry via exterior 2 story tiled staircase (with slip tape), well lit (solar) with a solid handrail.
The space
Open space on top floor with one enclosed bedroom with A/C & ensuite bathroom, large shower. Kitchen is well equipped, tiled counters (no oven) air fryer & many cooking appliances.
Pool table & shuffle board. A very cool space!
Guest access
Flight of stairs to 3rd floor is secure, safe , tiled, lit with handrail. Locked door to stairway on ground level.
Other things to note
The complex is a gated 5 acre property home to 30 residential villas -Loreto Shores, on the private beachfront of a protected Marine reserve. Views of Isla Carmen are often spectacular shades of pink & blue. Our complex also is host to approximately 20 RV parking sites which is often full of RV guests (no tenting) 24/7 security makes it a very safe comfortable place to enjoy company of others or private spaces. Reasonable taxi ride to fabulous golf. Boat tours or fishing trips, horseback riding or rental golf carts can easily be arranged.

The location turned out to be great with wonderful and accommodating hosts. A bit away from Centro but walkable in a safe neighborhood. Spacious, quiet apartment with beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. Very comfortable bed. The salt water pool was nice and all the people we met at Loreto Shores were friendly and helpful. Great place to stay!

Our eastern view of the Sea of Cortez often hosts dolphins, sea birds, pelicans and sometimes whale sprays… fishing boats with their sails afloat, a familiar sunrise, through sleepy eyes, How Happy we Feel!! The west view shows off incredible sunsets from this 3rd floor ‘loft’ above the 15 large unit RV sites in our complex l, which grants the opportunity for us all to meet interesting travelers from around the world, we haven’t met a bad traveller yet!

A very unusual and truly awesome place to stay — it feels like living right on a rooftop with beautiful indoor–outdoor flow. When all the windows are open, the sea breeze fills the space. Stunning views of the ocean with pelicans flying by, plus gorgeous mountain scenery. The sunsets and moonsets are absolutely spectacular. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, very responsive to communication. We came to discover new places and ended up not only doing that, but also finding new friends in our hosts. In general, Loreto is perfect for those seeking authenticity, the kindness of local people, great fishing, and outdoor adventures — just keep in mind that many of these activities are highly weather-dependent.

The view was definitely the best part. Not the hot water supply, or the sewer system. We were not in the area of Loreto that we were told by VRBO, so that was disappointing.

We are a retired professional couple from Western Canada (BC west coast) who have enjoyed 4 winters in Loreto and many visits to Baja Sur. We live close by the apartments and are very willing to help you have the best vacation experience.

Why they chose this property

We have enjoyed many spots in Baja Sur but find Loreto to be the right kind of Mexican town, friendly people, no hawkers, traditional historical Puebla Magico! easy to navigate, good restaurants, fantastic fishing and the Sea of Cortez at our doorstep.

What makes this property unique

We owners of the residences on this complex, Loreta Shores Villas & RV Park, are the custodians of a private beach protected by the National Marine Reserve, clean and accessible. Many days of wonderful seaside adventures await our visitors. The peoples of this town take great pride in their tourism businesses and benefit greatly from the hospitality that we all offer.
