Milagro Guest House, Seaside Bungalow with Ocean View and a Private Pool!

Location, location, location!!!, What more can we say. When visiting Loreto you really cannot get a more ideal and charming location. You will enjoy beautiful sea views from the front and the rear terraces of the bungalow. And your huge rear terrace overlooks your private pool. You are literally steps from the beach and the malecon- Loreto's seaside promenade. The bungalow is in a quiet, desirable neighborhood, enjoying a mix of cultures. As you step out of the front garden, you will be amazed at the friendliness of your neighbors.

Inside, the house has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a dining area. It has a comfortable living room with seating for 6, large screen TV with Netflix and Prime. The bedroom is spacious and there is a modern bathroom. In the back there is a large terrace with sea views and a dining area for 6. The terrace also has room to relax and lounge, while reading a book or maybe taking a nap. The bungalow consists of the entire upper level, with a private entrance via a secluded stairway.

Loreto is a wonderful place to visit, especially if you have never visited Mexico before. The people are incredibly friendly and helpful. As you walk the malecon you will be greeted with smiles and friendly greetings by the local folks. A car is not necessary to vacation at your bungalow in Loreto as it is located in the Centro (central district), with our many amenities within an easy and short walk. This would include the beach right across the street, a few steps to the malecon and many restaurants. You are only a 10 minute walk from our lovely tree shaded plazas and our historic Mission (one of the first Pacific Coast missions). A lot of unique and interesting shops can be found in this area.

You can also easily walk to services such as banks, groceries and car rentals (should you wish to visit our outlying attractions). We can help you hire a boat for your sea adventure; fishing, snorkeling or island tours. Or guides can be hired as you stroll on the malecon near the local marina.

So while you might find yourself driving into town, once you are parked, you might find that your vehicle goes unused as you tour Loreto on foot! Or perhaps by bicycle or kayak (both available on site and provided free of charge).

We can provide concierge services to help make your trip easy and a great success. This might include airport transfers, grocery shopping, laundry services, excursion planning, romantic meal catering, let us make your dream come true!

Fantastic apartment

Stayed for a few days in this lovely, private apartment hosted by Peter and Ron. It’s in a perfect location at the end of the Malecon. Fabulous relaxing stay

We had a great time in Loreto. The accommodations couldn't have been any better.......gorgeous view from the large patio. We walked all around the town from the house and it was so convenient. Peter and Ron were the best and most attentive hosts we ever encountered. Overall, an awesome stay! Highly recommend.

My new happy place

Wanted a place to stay for a week for r&r and Milagro perfectly fit the bill. The apartment is upstairs accessible by private outside stairs. It is clean, beautiful with nifty Day of the Dead touches. Extremely comfortable chairs, sofa and bed. You can be sure I will visit again next time I am in Loreto. Easy walking distance to everything. Peter and Ron made me some amazing food - including the best caesar salad I ever had, juicy tomahawk pork chop and rellenos on 3 different nights. Very reasonably oriced, too.

The guest house is in a prime location for those who want to explore the lovely town of Loreto on foot as well as be near the water. Our stay at Peter and Ron's place was amazing! The property, location was perfect. We really enjoyed the pool and the bikes. Great hosts!

This is an upstairs apartment located above the hosts living area and is very nice and well stocked. We could use their bicycles and kayaks as part of the rental. We especially appreciated the bottled water system plumbed into the kitchen! We really also really appreciated the friendly host who picked us up from the bus station and gave us a quick tour of town and even gave us a ride to the airport when we left, incredible! We were a bit disappointed with the noise level from the nightly "Cruising the Malecon" with loud engines and music - just bring your ear plugs to enjoy this location. We did not take advantage of the nice private pool as it is located on the bottom floor outside the host windows, so we didn't feel comfortable using it, however, we really enjoyed the upstairs deck with lots of seating/lounging. Overall, a great location and accommodations.

This is a wonderful place to stay when you want to get away to a small location and have privacy.It is one home away from the south point of the Malecon where you can take your walks along the waterfront. The length of the Malecon is approximately 3/4 miles long and it does have access to the plaza area however there are more direct ways to walk to the plaza.The area is very close to get to many attractions, stores, restaurants and other commercial businesses. A car is not necessary, however there is a National Car Rental across the street from this guest house for those guests that want to see beyond the local area. Our car rental was approximately 75 US plus fuel for a one day rental. It is an upstairs unit (very spacious) with a separate entrance. Peter and Ron live downstairs with a totally different entrance. They are accessible if needed however they will not intrude on your time there. The guest house consists of 4 basic and spacious rooms. A large, complete kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, range and all the accessories needed for meal preparation. Outside, we used the BBQ for 4 different dinners during our stay.The air conditioners were very efficient in cooling down the guest house when we would arrive back from a busy day.The pool is private and it is all for the guest to use at their leisure. It is out the back patio and then downstairs. Also downstairs is a laundry room and toilet for guests to use as needed.Highly recommend this location in Loreto.

Great Location and Awesome Hosts!

We arrived in Loreto and were greeted by Peter and Ron, shown through the property and given a few tips on what to consider doing during our stay. Their suggestions were bang on as we thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and excursion suggestions they made. The unit was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The 3 outside deck areas gave us a great choice of sun and shade at different times of the day. Peter and Ron were very available, extremely pleasant and accommodating. We would highly recommend staying at their guest house while enjoying Loreto!

Just finished a 4-week stay at Milagro Guest House. Cannot say enough good about it—all aspects. Peter and Ron are great hosts, quick to respond if needed, and are knowledgeable and very helpful about how to spend your time in Loreto and surrounding Baja. The guesthouse itself is comfortable, nicely furnished, has great outside space and has an amazingly well-stocked kitchen. The location….ah, the location. Absolutely perfect. Perfect Getaway

Our accommodations were excellent. Every necessity and comfort were provided for us to have a relaxing week in Loreto. Peter and Ron greeted us upon arrival and shared relevant information on our accommodation and things to do and favorite restaurants in Loreto. Our location was right near the walkway along the Sea of Cortez. We walked it numerous times as it always intrigued us to watch the pelicans diving for fish. Dining options were abundant and delicious. We ate out for most meals but the kitchen had every item a chef would need to prepare meals. We were a little early in the season to enjoy the pool but it looked very inviting. In summary I’d say it was an A+ experience.

In the heart of Loreto

We had a great time in Loreto despite some weather issues. We went with the intention of getting some scuba diving, but the weather didn’t cooperate. That being said, we did dive with the sea lions one day and it was fabulous. Our apartment was right off the Malecon and we walked all over the town. There was something happening almost every day and we met so many nice and friendly people. We had use of bikes and kayaks and we enjoyed both of those. Peter was available and so helpful during the week. I would highly recommend staying at the Milagro guest house.

Awesome hosts!

Ron and Peter are the best. They Made special efforts to make us feel at home and their rental is top notch! The location is perfect - right on the south end of the Malecon where a great sand beach begins. It was a little cold for us to enjoy the sparkling pool and the kayaks, but we had a great time tooling around town on the bicycles. The outdoor deck area is very large and comfortable with couch, lounge chairs, propane barbecue and dining table. It was great to sit out there and look at the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances are very nice. The property is very secure - even though Loreto is very safe, it is nice to feel secure. The bed with a memory foam topper will pull you in for a deep, restful sleep.

Outstanding Accommodation at a Perfect Location

Peter and Ron’s Loreto rental was very comfortable, clean and conveniently located, just steps from the south end of the malecon. The private pool was a terrific asset to have, since the beginning of our stay was quite hot for us and it offered a welcome respite after a morning of strolling and shopping the malecon and nearby plaza, and the second floor shaded terrace provided a fantastic hangout to enjoy the afternoon breeze. I can honestly say that they were the most hospitable and accommodating hosts that I’ve experienced with any short term rental, and their recommendations for activities, sights, experiences, and restaurants made for a fulfilling first visit to a charming town. The amenities offered were a welcome bonus - the on demand bottled water faucet at the kitchen sink and additional jug provided plentiful and convenient access to worry free drinking water, numerous towels provided were more than adequate, the huge bed was amazingly comfortable, and the kitchen was probably the best equipped that I’ve seen in a rental, and included a large outdoor gas grill. If we weren’t new to Loreto and excited to try what the restaurants in town had to offer, I would have felt as comfortable as cooking in my own kitchen, with plenty of pots, pans, utensils, and even numerous spices and staples. Access to laundry was much appreciated, use of bicycles offered an efficient way to see the town, and the available kayaks with convenient water access a block away would have provi

We are Peter and Ron. We are a married couple who have been together for almost 40 years. We have done a lot of traveling but have always had an affinity for Mexico. In fact, we took a year off from our careers and traveled throughout the country in a travel trailer. From Tijuana to Cancun and Villahermosa to Mazatlán, Mexico is a country of unlimited charms. We never tire of regaling folks with stories of our Mexico adventures. We chose Loreto as our home because, while it is still a small town, it has much to offer. It has great food, spectacular scenery, charming plazas, and a dramatic seafront (our malecon). But the most important thing Loreto has to offer is a wonderful community of people- everyone is always friendly and helpful.

Why they chose this property

Milagro bungalow is a private residence located on the second floor of our house. A secluded set of stairs leads to the bungalow. We always dreamed of owning a home in this neighborhood of Loreto and were excited when this opportunity presented itself. As we have mentioned us and our guests are literal steps from our quiet beach and lovely malecon. Almost all of the services and amenities in Loreto are a short stroll from the house- including restaurants, groceries, souvenirs, boat rentals, and car rentals.

What makes this property unique

Milagro bungalow is unique because of its quiet location. While our amenities and services are nearby, you are still in an authentic old Loreto neighborhood. The mix of cultures is pleasant and welcoming. You cannot leave your door without a friendly greeting from the folks on the street.
