About this property
Beach Bungalow 1 Summ
Summary:
Welcome to your beachside getaway at Lakeshore Resort in Traverse City, Michigan! Our original historic resort is located at the base of the East Grand Traverse Bay. With newly decorated spaces, we know you'll enjoy our special spot tucked away from the bustle! This quiet community style space is perfect for all of your vacation activities. Lakeshore Resort is the perfect place no matter the occasion or season. This will quickly become a favorite lakeside pick for your future travels!
The Space:
The Beach Bungalow is a private single cabin with a blend of rustic charm and modern decor.
This space offers one queen size bedroom and one bathroom (shower only) with a kitchenette and full size refrigerator. It also has a quaint living room (including a pullout couch), and 4 seater round dining table. This cabin has an original layout with a lot of natural light. The smaller living space lets us offer the property to be best enjoyed in our outdoor areas! Please keep in mind the ceiling height of 7 ft and narrow doorways. It's the perfect size to retreat to after a long day enjoying your daily adventures around Northern Michigan. “The perfect little getaway.”
We provide extra linens and pillows for your pull out couch. We have a large wifi TV for late night movies. This cabin has heat and an A/C wall mini split controlled by a remote. We provide fresh towels and offer a towel rotation on Wednesdays. The Beachside Bungalow offers drive up parking for easy loading and unloading.
Guest Access:
With a community style layout, Lakeshore Resort is like a miniature neighborhood. It is a space that is perfect for family reunions, peaceful solo trips, or get-togethers with friends. With private units sleeping various amounts of people, Lakeshore Resort is the best of both worlds; you can have your separate private living area while also enjoying a spacious outdoor community. Most units have their own front porch with a table and chairs, but there are also multiple shared seating options including beach lounge chairs and picnic tables. We also have a shared grilling cabana equipped with some grilling utensils and charcoal. In front of the large sandy beach is a grassy yard for games and endless fun!
The Neighborhood:
Just minutes away from downtown Traverse City, Lakeshore Resort allows for beach days and city nights. Downtown Traverse City is stocked with the best shopping, dining, and entertainment options around! Be sure to check out our suggestions in your booking information after you have made your reservation!
If you are looking for family friendly activities, the TART Trail is seconds away for biking and walking adventures. Pirates Cove Adventure Park and Mini Golf Courses is a fan favorite with ice cream and fudge shops nearby. When looking for fun things to do in the area like horseback riding or kayaking, feel free to reach out to the Bayshore Vacation Rentals team and we will be happy to help plan your trip with you!
Other Things to Note:
Lakeshore Resort grounds are a shared space with all guests staying at the resort. Areas like the BBQ grill and picnic table, as well as, the beach and the parking lot are all included in these shared spaces. Our Lakeshore Resort team members maintain the grounds daily, keeping the space tidy and clean during your stay.
Lakeshore Resort does not have boats or watercraft available to rent. With no dock, if you should rent any watercraft or boats, there is a boat launch nearby and boats can be anchored off shore. If you have small watercraft items like kayaks or canoes, they can be pulled up and stored on our private beach for the duration of your stay.
The parking lot is a shared space with numbered spots for your unit you are staying in. It is a small parking lot and there is not enough room for a boat trailer or trailer parking. If you are looking for a place off site to park a boat trailer, Timber Ridge has accepted parking in the past and is minutes away. Be sure to give them a call for usage and rates.
There are cameras on the premises that faces the parking lots and office area.
This is a strictly non-smoking property, including all indoor and outdoor areas.
