What a beautiful location and adorable little place to stay! Very convenient to Interlochen and Traverse City, and less than an hour to Sleeping Bear Dunes. This place worked well for our family of three, and we hope to return the next time we're in the area.

The host was amazing in her upkeep of the house. The house was also stocked with items that weren't on the list just in case something was forgotten by the traveler. The property is located in a very peaceful setting, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Traverse City. This was an wonderful place to stay!

Our stay couldn't be more perfect! Adorable little house! Felt like home the minute we walked in. The host was very pleasant and made sure we were happy. The beds were so very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed hearing about the history of her homestead and meeting beautiful Shire horse and her adorable donkey, and not to forget her two adorable 4 legged greeters! I personally was saddened when it came time to go home.

This was perfect for my daughter and I while exploring Traverse City. Amanda was more than accommodating. Ivan the horse and Henry donkey are the absolute sweetest!! The kitchen is perfect for us as we like to cook soy of our own meals because we have food allergies. The space was great. Thank you so much for making our vacation amazing. Highly recommended stay. Not too far from Wilson’s antiques, Peninsula Cellars, or Blackstar Farm!!

This was a nice quite location in the country. We had concert tickets at Interlochen and it was only about 15 minutes away. We are also bicycle enthusiast and it was a nice location to drive to both Frankfurt and Glenn Arbor which both have beautiful bike trails. Also, close to Traverse City! Amanda was great! She even introduced me to her horse and donkey on the property. I would not hesitate to rebook the next time we are in the Traverse City area!

Sweet Escape

We stayed at this cozy house for a week and it was perfect. It was in the country so we felt like we got away, yet it was close to Traverse City for dining and shopping. We enjoyed fishing on several local lakes as well exploring the area. The home was clean, comfortable, and great getaway for two.

Cozy getaway with animal friends

My husband and I had a great time meeting all of the animals on the property. Amanda, Timber, Harold, and Ivan made our stay memorable and wonderful. We particularly enjoyed spending a night beside the fire and enjoying the stars. The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

This cottage was perfect for my small family of 3. It was clean, cozy, and the location was in great proximity to all the small towns on M22. Not to mention the host was excellent and thought of just about everything you could possibly need. She also, let us meet all of her animals on the farm. My 2 year old son loved it!

Beautiful surroundings, personable host, the house smelled so good. It was so cute and cozy. Very clean. I sat outside in the am with my coffee. I drove to the Point Betsie lighthouse for the sunset!!
