North Carolina native, eldest of 4 sisters, Appstate grad, 10 years in education/child services, traveling artist and home renovator, wife, mother. Love the outdoors, a hot tea or coffee on a rainy day by a window or fireplace, candy, cooking, creating, paddling, birding, and pickle martinis. My eclectic whimsical style is influenced by my travels and portrayed in my home interiors and art. Currently in Honolulu, HI, previously in CO, WA, NC, WI.

Why they chose this property

The cabin is a family heirloom. My husband Morgan’s maternal grandfather was a carpenter who built the cabins of Hound Ears. His mother and father met and went on their first date in this neighborhood.

What makes this property unique

Original 1970s vintage A-frame architecture with cedar shake roof, unique interior, and towering boulder garden foundation makes this property something special. I love to listen to the waterfalls, wind in the leaves and birds sing while I lounge in the yard or on the deck. Quiet gorgeous neighborhood. A private mountain retreat that offers an elevated casual atmosphere.
