We were in ligonier for a wedding weekend. I wish we could have spent more time at the property. Lovely area I would like to return and spend more "down" time to appreciate the yard and sunporch. Definitely would like a getaway just to enjoy.
The property was perfect for our family. The house was very clean and the rooms were spacious and open for what we needed. The outdoor space was great as well, as we enjoyed spending time outdoors. The property owner was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
This was a delightful place to stay. The property was WONDERFUL for children. It had a huge yard and a very nice creek for the kids to play in. They absolutely loved it. The house is older with a lot of character and located in a quiet neighborhood.

Thank you Caitlin! So glad your family the house and yard! You are welcome back to Creekside anytime.
My children and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in this spacious and beautiful home. The bitter winter temps didn't allow us to fully make use of the expansive outdoor areas and creek access, but we hope to visit again in summer.
We spent the weekend fishing on the creek for opening day of trout. It was a beautiful day. The house was nice and accommodated us all. Will definitely stay again.
We needed the house last minute and the owner was very responsive. The grounds were beautiful the stream with a fire pit. Unfortunately we didnt get to use it much because of a snow storm but it was very convenient to a Giant Eagle and restaurants
Very cute cottage, loved it! The house was beautiful and cozy. A lot of extra blankets and pillows. Only complaint is that it is very close to neighbors, so if you are planning to have a fire keep that in mind.
Great, secluded home with all the needed amenities. Very responsive and accommodating host. The four bedrooms were great for our family and it’s close enough to Ligonier and Lee trough that the seclusion is a benefit biggest drawback is there is only one TV and it’s very small.

Almost home again
Creekside is a lovely and quaint, yet roomy house for a family or two to three couples. The kitchen is very well-stocked with dishes, flatware, pots and pans, and roomy enough for a couple of cooks in the kitchen. The setting is lovely and close to town. Being from Ligonier originally, it was so nice to stay in a home and not a hotel. We will be back!

My sister and her husband were in town with their adult children, spouses, and grandchildren.
They were extremely impressed with the quaintness and unique charm of the home.
Such a beautiful place to reconnect with each other while celebrating my son’s wedding.
Every thing was homey and comfortable.

Excellent Location
We had such a great time here. The house is amazing. You feel at home as soon as you walk in. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Everything you need is there. The pictures don't do it any justice. It was so much better than what the pictures show. It's in a good location for the attractions in the area and close to town for food and shopping. The owner was quick to answer questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for a great trip.

A charming, cozy cottage!
We loved the house and the grounds! So conveniently located to all the activity in Ligonier. The kitchen was a great size and so well stocked with all the right pans, dishes and cooking utensils. The porch was a morning retreat with coffee...so sweet! During the month we were there, we used the air conditioners only two days; the fans were great! We enjoyed the swing and all the outdoor furniture as well as the fire pit. Perfect for a S'Mores night! Landscapers were there every week mowing and vacuuming up fallen leaves. We loved the house and hope to be back next year!!

Another amazing Christmas in this wonderful house...and this time we had snow!
House was clean and beds were comfy. Supplies like shampoo, hand soap, trash bags, etc. were available. Loved having washer & dryer. This was our 2nd Christmas at Creekside and we were thrilled to wake up to a covering of snow Christmas morning. Many games were played around the large dining room table and great conversations shared in the living room and Sun room. Loved the amazing views of the snow and creek from the Sun room. This is such a special house and we hope to return for another Christmas one day! Bev is awesome to work with too.

Thanksgiving
Overall we had a great stay... One major issue is the staircase. It is extremely slippery. My son-in-law fell down an entire flight holding his 2 year old son. Thankfully the baby was not injured because his Dad took the brunt of the fall. There needs to be carpet treads on the stairs. One minor inconvenience but not a deal breaker is that the upstairs bath does not have any electrical outlets, a nuisance but not unexpected in an older home. The home is lovey, had enough space for my 8, well stocked with all necessities. Will definitely recommend and/ or stay again.

Wonderful Christmas Cottage!
We had a fabulous Christmas trip with our adult children and my daughter's boyfriend. The location could not have been more perfect with the beauty of the Loyalhanna Creek as a backdrop for the lovely house. We enjoyed having morning coffee in the sunroom and playing games at the dining room table in the evening. All bedrooms had comfortable beds. Linens and towels were plentiful. We loved having a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry room, complete with detergent, dish tabs, fabric softener, trash bags, etc. Helped a lot! We really appreciated the Christmas decorations and poinsettias; we brought our own small tree and a few strands of lights to complete the Christmas cottage! Many special memories were made in this home over the week...memories that we will treasure forever. My husband wasn't in favor of getting a rental this year, but he kept telling me how glad he was that we did, and how much he loved the house. Thank you for sharing this special place with us and we may end up coming back someday!

This property was exactly as described. Beautiful setting, charming house and close to Idlewild Park. My granddaughters loved playing in the creek and s'mores around the campfire. There was plenty of room for 5 adults and 3 children. It was a perfect weekend!
We loved the place and enjoyed our stay very much! It had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing vacation. We will definitely return for another stay in the future!
